disneylover5....that is the same reason i have not unpacked! all our summer clothes are already put up on shelves so i would have no other place to put these...and i don't put it past my kids to try to wear some of them even though it is cold here too!

There has been a band of snow passing over - most snow 6", but our country is useless at coping these days.

We've had about 4" of snow. When we got up for work at 5.30am it was snowing and it still is, but only lightly now.

As Maz said, the UK is useless at coping. Which is why DH and I decided not to go to work. We travel by train and bus, a journey of about an hour-and-a-half when everything's running okay. Looking at the forecast we thought we could get to work but may have had problems getting home again. Very few people where either of us work travel by public transport so have little understanding of the problems. So we'll probably lose a day's leave. But never mind, we had a day together and enjoyed a lovely walk in the snow.

We are considering AKL, but it would probably be a small buy - 50 points, if we do it. The problem is, the rumors about the Contemporary are giving Adrienne pause...

WAIT!! They will have some great incentive offers when we are on the member cruise this October!

When I was at WDW the weekend of January 20th, a construction project of some kind is underway at the end of the North towers at the Contemporary. The construction fences are up and they were clearing the trees away from that end of the property. It will be interesting to see what they are up to and when they will announce something.

BTW-I'll be at WDW for 1 day after my business meeting in Baltimore on March 3. I'm taking a cheap Southwest flight from BWI to MCO on Saturday morning and then flying back Sunday night to Salt Lake. I only had to fork out the $85 for the Southwest ticket one way from BWI to MCO!

Yippee-one more day at the Mousehouse for me!

Regarding Airborne...

We took it before and during our 3 days at WDW before our cruise (and, then, ran out), but none of us came down with even a cold. The package says to mix it in water (tastes a little like Tang), but the kids really didn't like that. So, we mixed it in orange juice and that was much better.

HOWEVER, just a note that when I tried to take it multiple times/day, I got a major headache. Can you get a vitamin overload?? For me, once a day works great!

Yes, the kids liked finding people wearing them in the hotel the morning of the cruise. Of course, glow-in-the-dark is always fun!

the best place to buy glow in the dark necklaces or bracelets is ebay! you know the kinds you can buy at parks and stuff....you can buy 50 of them for $50 at oriental trading but you can buy 500-1000 for $50 on ebay!

and yes, i do like talking to myself...just ask my dh!

Oh we should! My daughter and I go to Portland all the time! We're going on Monday the 12th as a matter of fact, we're always heading to Portland for one thing or another. on our Double Dip last September we met a really sweet couple that live in Portland!
