I have a nice day planned for today, and the weather looks lovely. I think it may be cold out of the sun though!

Have a Chiropractic appointment at 10.30, then meeting my daughter in law Jayne for a coffee and a natter. John hopes to finish work early, so we will probably go for a coffee and a bun somewhere too!! We live within walking distance of our town centre which is very nice. :)

Easy meal tonight then some TV and Dising.

Ok, i know quite a few UK terms, but what is a natter?

Karen

I ache this morning though!!! Did a class at the gym yesterday and the instructor decided to do a hula hoop based one, so used different muscles. I was pleased how I did with the hoop, and doing weights with arms too!!! I am so willing the back flab away!!:rotfl:

You go Girl!! I'm having enough trouble just getting off this couch to get my baskets done!!:happytv:

Karen

How are you feeling now?. Hope you are well enough to have a good weekend. Is the dinner you are doing the baskets for this weekend?

My daughter and her school mum friends is organising a ball to raise funds for her childrens' school. Last October there was an arson attack and some of the school was burned down, so there has been much fund raising. It is going to be 'Bond' themed, so she bought a really glitzy dress(that she will never wear again) in the sales a few weeks ago. She looks amazing. She is responsible for the table decorations etc.

Oh, it's just after 8am now. That means midnight where you are Karen. Does your husband keep late hours too? My John likes to be on his way to be at 10pm!!
Your clocks go forward this weekend, we catch up in 2 weeks.

Must get moving now, and anyway the Dis is about to go. Have a good night's sleep Karen if you are gone when this gets back. :confused3 Erm, just realised how daft that sounds!!!:rotfl:

Thought I would multi-quote these as you were alone on the board and now I am!!

A natter is a really good chat and catch up!!! We'll have one on our cruise Karen!!!

I am really looking forward to that!!!:chat: And I am looking forward to using that expression!

I am feeling better, just a bit tired still. I hope to feel even better for our plans this weekend! party:

Yes, it is a wonderful event with a Live, Silent and Dessert Auction, dinner, dancing and lots of nattering!! :dancer: The school makes quite a lot of money and it's a lot of fun!! We will be attending this Saturday night, so probably no DISsing from me till Sunday! ;)

My DH need a lot more sleep than I do :rotfl: He goes to bed around 11:00 pm, sometimes earlier sometimes later.

Didn't sound daft to me!! I knew exactly what you meant!! :rotfl2:

Have a great day, I am off to bed now!!

Who was it said that England and America are 2 countries, divided by the same language? :rotfl:

so true!:rotfl:

okay that husband would be mine :rolleyes1 .... I told you, his nickname is Pope Paul....

I'm almost afraid to mention that he has gotten it not only for me but for my girlfriends too...one day their husbands are going to punch him in the nose for making them look so bad....:scared1:

hmmmmm note to self, might have an alternative on Fish mail...coffee delivery service on the last day....:lmao:

I guess now would be a bad time to mention that on the last bit of time on vacation he sends me and the kids out to play so he can pack us up to go home....oh man I'm digging my own grave here huh?

Maybe your DH and mine are related as mine is wonderful too. He would always go and get coffee for me in the mornings, carry all the suitcases after we pack together, and he has let me lie in the sun while goes to pack up at the end of a holiday too!:cloud9:

I love the croc flip flops. My mom has 10 pair or so (seriously) (so now everyone knows where my shoe thing started:lmao: ) and I have borrowed them a few times. They are very comfy. I am sure I will be snagging a pair rather than buying some for the cruise. Once I snag, it rarely goes back! :cool1:

I really like the look of the flip flops so may ahve to invest in some when we come over in April :):cool1:

At home, I never do breakfast, except for a banana on the way out the door. On Vacation, I do breakfast everyday, I'm sick I know it.

That's me too....don't do breakfast generally but have to have it on holiday!:rolleyes1

Hi everyone - its been a while since I posted and realized I'd better start checking in here. Have I missed anything important here? ;)

Just kidding - I've got insomnia again and was just playing around on the boards that I "checked" in but forgot all about.

Oh well - check back later!

Now, you need to read every single post you missed!!!

Nice to see you again.

We were at our High School Boy's basketball district semi-final game tonight. We were losing the whole game, and came back to win in a nail biter by 4 points.

You guys may remember my post about the seven foot kid we have (who is Greek) going to Ohio State next year. They projected that if there was an NBA draft for HS kids, he would probably go eighth in such a draft.

Anyway, there was an awesome story about him in the paper today:

If you want to read a feel good story about a great kid. Our community is very proud of him, and, he is a 4.0 student too.
What a great story, despite the sadness of losing his father. Thanks so much for posting the link! He sounds like a great kid!

I was wondering that myself! Learn something new every day! :thumbsup2

Hey, maybe you could teach us all a local phrase each day. :goodvibes

Sad about the school arson, but the Bond themed ball sounds so much fun! Your daughter will have so much fun!

Well, have fun chatting today, everybody! I have to be at work in 25 minutes and still haven't taken a shower yet. Catch you all later! :goodvibes

Isn't 2008 DCL's 10th Anniversary? Do you think they'll be having a special celebration next year? That would be so cool!

That would be great!. I wonder what the date was for the first cruise?
Just found the date, March 12, 1998. I bet that cruise will definately have something special.

[QUOTE I never knew what a terepin was...now I know! How 'bout this? A Charlie Horse! LOL

SERIOUSLY?! :scared1: You sooooooooo win this one.

Park admission is not included. The Half Marathon is completed before the parks officially open.

Woody

That would be fun to walk through when it's empty! (Yes, I'm seriously thinking about it....)
