Isn't 2008 DCL's 10th Anniversary? Do you think they'll be having a special celebration next year? That would be so cool!

All I know is I am having Mother's Day on Castaway. This will definitely be a special cruise. I would suspect some nice pins. Hopefully not like last time though.

One team is having a discussion as to whether they should be getting a gift for every family that has registered on this thread through AuntyBrat or will it be everyone who has some type of fish extender/stockening. I think I posed this question but thought I'd throw it out again. Anyone have any input?

I would say only those registered in this group. This group will probably be at least twice the size it is now by the time we're ready to cruise. Plus, by doing only those registered here we will know exactly how many gifts to bring.

How could I not have realized that?! That is the greatest news! 2 years in a row spending mother's day with (and without my MIL shhhhhhh) Thank you for making my night with this news (although I am sure I am the last one to realize this)

I say the ones registered because not everyone is going to be giving but hopefully everyone will be receiving. The only thing that was mentioned before was that everyone will need something even a plastic bag hanging off of their fish extender so we can put stuff into it.

I want the room next to yours!!

I find the holiday, book it, book everything else that goes with it, plan it, shop for it, pack, unpack, tidy the room etc, get my own morning coffees, wash, iron, pack again, unpack when back home, wash, iron and put away!!

He does pay for it though!! Oh, and lifts most of the suitcases, and moans a bundle abut how heavy they are!!!

DITTO, DITTO AND DITTO!!!!! Although, DH will book the airfare and help with the planning. I think I mentioned before that he would travel every other week, or monthly, if he could!!! Of course, I would be doing all of the above items that you do for every trip!!!

having coordinated a gift exchange on our last cruise....I caution us about the delivery to those who don't have fish mailboxes. We ended up having to track people down and it lost it's charm after a while....I'd like to include everyone, but not have to deliver to a "person" but a location so that once we do it it can be done with. Clear as mud?

Good morning all. Up a bit earlier today.

I'll be 52 this year and celebrating at WDW this year. I think all birthdays after 50 should be celebrated with Disney. It makes us feel young again.

15 more days until Birthday cake.

GREAT IDEA! I'll be at DL the day before my birthday this year (58) and on the cruise on my birthday next year (50)! I think a precedent is being set!

Now, I REALLY love this one!!! I am 59 in a couple of weeks, so that will make me 51 for the cruise!! On yes, that'll do for me!

We don't have kids but this sounds fun:

On another thread they are talking about doing a scavanger hunt in the ships for the kids using the passporter treasure hunt book. Then at the end give out little prizes. I have this book and if anyone is intersted I would be happy to make one or more for the adults and kids on our cruise. Just let me know if anyone is interested. We could do familys or groups or adults verse kids or I could just make them up and give them out and people could enjoy them on their own.

Let me know if anyone is interested if not thats ok too.

I liked the ideas from the other thread so much, as well as some from our own that I started a word file with the info so that I wouldn't forget!!

I think that a teenish group would be great as they seem to really be into that lately.

I plan on ordering breakfast and give them Noel or Karen's cabin number..you can just leave the food outside your door with a big "Calmom" sign! Ordering breakfast was one of the best things about being in a suite. And the last morning...that was perfect. You can't order a hot breakfast, but you can still order food and coffee. It was great! Lucky you guys!

OK, not a morning person!! As you can see by my late night (early am) posts, I do the night!!!

However, something could possibly be arranged in terms of food and coffee in the suite the last morning...

And yes, we do feel very lucky!!! We had a cat 3 for the EB repo and were spoiled beyond words!!!! Hard to travel any other way now...

I will be back shortly, I have to put together some gift baskets for our upcoming Dinner Dance and Silent Auction for our local Elementary School. I was very involved with this the 6 years that DD was there, and I still put together some wine baskets and a Creative Memories basket for their silent auction.

I have a nice day planned for today, and the weather looks lovely. I think it may be cold out of the sun though!

Have a Chiropractic appointment at 10.30, then meeting my daughter in law Jayne for a coffee and a natter. John hopes to finish work early, so we will probably go for a coffee and a bun somewhere too!! We live within walking distance of our town centre which is very nice.

Easy meal tonight then some TV and Dising.

I ache this morning though!!! Did a class at the gym yesterday and the instructor decided to do a hula hoop based one, so used different muscles. I was pleased how I did with the hoop, and doing weights with arms too!!! I am so willing the back flab away!!
