Anyone planning to book a 2009 Disney cruise while onboard?

If so, some of us have booked the 7-night Eastern/Tortola cruise for September 12, 2009. Come join us!

So far, we have:
woody73
mishoe01
gouodux
EllaEnchanted
Ragdoll
lovebeast

We plan on booking. We promised DD a college graduation Trip. It will probably be late May 2009.

Since we're at CC on a Sunday does this mean the post office will be closed so we won't be able to mail postcards?

This requires some planning. We need to find someone who will be cruising before us and is willing to pick up stamps for us.

It is our 40th wedding anniversary next year:scared1:  :scared1: and I would love to cruise again but not sure about John. I am hoping this cruise melts his heart!! I am planning a WDW trip next May but it would be early May.

. . . Well, I will be booking a dummy date, but I don't think I can cruise in 2009, as we have a family adventure that year (Peg's 50th birthday!!!--hurts when the 'baby' hits 50!)
A Disney Cruise would make a terrific family adventure.

They say 50 is the new 40.

I'm going to try to catch up. Not sure if anyone answered about age restrictions for swimming without an adult around in the Goofy pool.

Wanted to post about the Hyatt discount - maybe already mentioned - here is the thread

Unfortunately, we already used requested certificates through our amex card. This rate would have been good!

I just wanted to let you know that my brother Tim died this morning.

Thank you to everyone who has sent prayers and pixie dust for him over the last 6 months.

Mary,

I am sorry for your loss. Please know you have my deepest sympathy.

I will be so glad to go home after work. No idea why but I just haven't been into work this week at all. Hopefully it is just this week as I do have lots to do, just no desire to do any of it, and I am really missing my bed right now ...

I've been feeling that way all week too! So today, I'm staying in bed until my 1pm meeting.

I've got my work cell, laptop, pot of coffee...and I'm good to go!

Do they have a life guard at the Goofy Pool?

That calls for a banana dance!

A great way to spend morning!

UNBELIEVABLY! Every day I talk almost nonstop about this trip! I'm truly driving everybody at work nuts!

:hyper2: They will be as glad as you will be when this cruise comes along!!!

No, I don't think so. I think CMs walk by occasionally to check things out.
I just can't remember at what age kids (swimming together) are ok. I wrote on the main thread how I would never ever let my 8 year old swim with his brother alone. But then my oldest reminded me that it swam in the Goofy pool with his 11 year old cousin when he was 9. So know I'm a bit confused...
