Each day after selling girl scout cookies I would allow Jacinda to have take out for dinner. One day she asked if she could go to Carl's Jrs. Not exactly the kind of take out I like but she had done well with cookies that day so I said yes. So we went to the drive thru. Jacinda and Dom had shakes that were Capn Crunch Shakes! Yup the cereal. Jacinda said it tasted better then any shake she ever had before. Umm not so sure about that but the kids went nuts begging everyday for a week to go back. I found this coupon online and it is good until April 1st.

My DB would love Capn Crunch Shakes. When we were kids in the burbs outside of Chicago, we participated in many taste tests. One of them was for cereal. Each day we would have to eat a bowl of cereal from either Box A, B or C and then rate the cereal. One of them turned out to be Capn Crunch.

I've had 3 people tell me today that DL is so crowded today that they left. Then they just showed it on the news and said it was a packed mouse house! I'm going over to meet the girls early on Saturday morn.

Spring break is in full swing. Lots of friends trying to go over the next week and a half.

Some of the people on the April 19th cruise got their docs today. Still people on there with no room!

If you have Hardies that's the Mid-West Carls-Jr. They don't have the same menu though.

For those of you staying at WDW before the cruise. We received an email from our TA. Our current ressie is for May 7-10th at the Poly. 1211.97 standard room.

The gist of the email.
Disney released a room only discount for your travel dates today.
Disney is advising that the Polynesian is not available for your travel dates.
Note the following prices are just quotes.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Standard View would be 621.00
Boardwalk Inn Standard View would be 941.64
Contemporary Garden Wing - Garden View would be 925.00
Contemporary Tower Bay Lake View would be 1145.00
Wilderness Lodge - Courtyard View Bunk Bed - room would have 1 queen bed and a set of bunk beds would be 891.00

If it were summer, I would have guessed to visit Great America!

Hey, Great America is in my backyard, literally. Our property borders theirs!

I was actually there because my DH's two grandmothers passed away within weeks of each other and they lived in Waukegan. We stayed at a hotel right next to the Cracker Barrel. It was freezing when we were there.

So sorry to hear of your loss. It hasn't gotten much warmer and it is snowing, again, right now. Can someone tell me when spring will come

Yes, Veuve Clicquot is my favorite - and the rose was amazing. My second two favorites are Piper Heidsick and J.

. . . So we ended up buying four bottles to take on the cruise with us.

If you've never tried the rose' of those brands, you'll have to come by for a glass - they are really good. If you like good champagne, I know you'll love it!

You had me curious, so I had to google again. Seems there are 2 Hardee's locations in Michigan, none of which are near me. Bummer.

I don't understand.

You say you have a reservation, with a deposit at the Poly for certain dates, and now they say they don't have your room available? And you have to pay more?

Connie, she is booked with a room at Poly, but there is now a discount code and Poly is not on offer. The listing of the other resorts is the discounted pricing on those offerings, if she is willing to move resorts.
