Got my tickets today to "High School Musical". It's coming in August. Part 2 is coming in Nov. Tickets are not on sell yet for it and being during football season i don't know if I will go.

Afternoon all,

Just finished a day of lectures to a challenging audience of students with processing disorders. It was a challenge for me to speak slowly and edit as I go to match their abilities to listen.

We had an earthquake last night - a tiny one at only 3/1 but it hit practically right under us. So, it gave us a good jolt. They don't often hit our area. But the funny thing was that the fireworks started at DL at the exact same time, so it really confused us. The sounds are so similar. It was minutes after we had gone to sleep so it really confused us.

I thought the law got changed here in Florida. It used to be that you couldn't import wine but I thought you could now. I'll try to find out. Connie

I will be at LAX at 5:00 am for a flight to Michigan for my Mom's birthday! I'll be coming back on Monday. It's a long way to go for just a few days, but totally worth it when I see how happy it makes her for me to go. She's turning 82. I get to see the snow and be in the cold weather for a few days - it's a nice change from sunny CA - for a few days that is!

I've had 3 people tell me today that DL is so crowded today that they left. Then they just showed it on the news and said it was a packed mouse house! I'm going over to meet the girls early on Saturday morn.

Culvers has a super yummy pumpkin spice shake around Thanksgiving time and it tastes JUST LIKE pumpkin pie with whipped cream!

Each day after selling girl scout cookies I would allow Jacinda to have take out for dinner. One day she asked if she could go to Carl's Jrs. Not exactly the kind of take out I like but she had done well with cookies that day so I said yes. So we went to the drive thru. Jacinda and Dom had shakes that were Capn Crunch Shakes! Yup the cereal. Jacinda said it tasted better then any shake she ever had before. Umm not so sure about that but the kids went nuts begging everyday for a week to go back. I found this coupon online and it is good until April 1st.
