:lmao:

Bad, bad day here.....
Thanks for listening to my troubles.:grouphug:

:grouphug: For you Angie and for Lisa too! Your loved ones are in my prayers.

Lifeboat roomies, how often do you go and check for your room number on DCL?

I think I must go on at least 6 times a day - just in case.

I don't go anymore at all...because I KNOW I'll hear from YOU the minute they start allocating rooms! :lmao:

Well...I jumped from page 12 to 29 because I don't have enough time to catch up this morning. I'll go back and read them at lunch. So here is some :grouphug: :cheer2: pirate:  :tigger: pixiedust: for whoever needs them!

.

I would like to know this as well. I know at the club we belong to the age is 13 before they swim alone for safety issues.

I can see the alone part. I think I would be nervous swimming alone in that goofy pool with those waves!

Marr, where you the one that posted about Coldwater? I got a 3-piece suit for work for like $20! Thanks!
Lisa

Well, the snow stuck around...schools are 2 hours late today. It is parent teacher conferences, but they canceled all those and took away the half day. Now, to rethink our whole day....the girls are both upset because they were going to spend the afternoon with their Nana (my mom) and now they can't because they have school. I have never heard of them reversing a half day, but I guess it happens.

Lisa & Angie, I hope Frank and your GD are doing better today.

Ok I changed my flight to MCO and my hotel at the port. All to do now is pack and wait!

Isn't it a grand feeling? We just completed everything except finishing the packing. I left most of our clothes from our Dec. trip washed and packed. Just the dinner and formal clothes to pack and we are done. :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

Oh but, you might be allocated before us and you miss out on telling us all!!!

:rotfl2:

It was funny because we could see each other from across the room.

I could see her from across the room, but I still knew this was the only way I could have a conversation with her![/QUOTE]

You're a Dis widower, just like my John!!!:lmao:

DEB and I sit and talk over coffee on week ends and she or I will say "did you hear what so and so said about" and we're off she lights up her laptop and I grab mine. it is funny we sit and talk to each other, or post back and forth across the living room

good afternoon Marilyn how things "over the pond" kind of cold and rainy again here. I wish Spring would come:mad:

I would say "so and so said..." and he wouldn't know who or what I was talking about. Maybe that's why he joined! He'll fit right in with all the other Johns.

I don't go on very often. I figure my TA will call when I get one and why be disappointed before then? :confused3

Not a bad day today, some rain this morning but has been sunny. Going to rain all weekend, so winter isn't over yet. Looks like March came in like a lion and will be going out the same way this year!:sad2:

Does this new Jon know about the Friend's of John(or Jon, Jonathan etc) club?;)

Bad, bad day here. I really thought 2008 was going to be better but... I got a call from DD this morning that DGD12 was being transported from Salem Kaiser dr office to Dornbecker's Childrens Hospital. She has a very serious case of pneumonia. The Childrens Hospital is attached to the one DD and I work at by a skybridge so an easy walk over when she arrived. Her right lung is completely full and they were talking about putting in a chest tube, but after a second xray thought that might not be necessary. They have her on a couple of IV antibiotics and we are praying for a quick recovery. She is on oxygen, had a reaction to vancomycin and had to be put on benedryl for that. She is quite the trouper. When they were trying to get an IV in at Kaiser to transport they kept sticking her and she finally said "could you just try a different place?" I spent a bit of time with them, then decided I would go back to work for awhile while the docs worked her up and decided what to do. As I was walking back to my office I got a call on my cell from my sis telling me our cousin had commited suicide this morning. :sad2: This was as huge shock, the last person I would expect this from. His dad (my favorite uncle) has lost 2 wives in the past 5 years and now a child. :sad1: How much loss can one person endure? He can use lots of prayers. He is 82 years old and plans to fly back to Delaware for services. So far no one has been able to say they can go with him. I will talk with DrHug when he gets home and see if I can do a couple of days. .:grouphug:

I am so sorry to hear this. You have my thoughts and prayers.

I do have to tell him about that. Maybe they can all wear wigs and run around the ship, oh wait that's us. They need to get their own thing!
