all that worry about my car payment and BAM, I check Bank of America today and it has cleared.

Lifeboat roomies, how often do you go and check for your room number on DCL?

I think I must go on at least 6 times a day - just in case.

I was searching for a few more knit dresses for the cruise (they travel well and expand as you eat your way through the cruise) and I noticed www.coldwatercreek.com has a bunch of good prices on stuff in the outlet section. Also I found a discount code. Coupon Code WXP1482 will take 40% off your order. It works in regular or clearance sections. I found two knit dresses that were $12.99 on sale minus the 40% they became $7.80 each!

Will have to check it out...thanks!

Connie: Was that the 2005 Member Cruise? If so, I think we met you there.
Jan :earsgirl:

HEY! JAN! yes, it was us! We always sneak to the front row of the theater through the club because Patrick can't see from the back! The only problem with that is that he talks to the performers all the time!

He is a riot on the cruise!

Can't wait to see everyone again! Connie

:hippie: I have to go get dressed now.....I have cruisers to send on the Wonder! have a great day everyone! :hippie:

Have fun Connie! Sending out cruisers sounds a lot better than reading over our latest bond issue!

Bad, bad day here. I really thought 2008 was going to be better but... I got a call from DD this morning that DGD12 was being transported from Salem Kaiser dr office to Dornbecker's Childrens Hospital. She has a very serious case of pneumonia. The Childrens Hospital is attached to the one DD and I work at by a skybridge so an easy walk over when she arrived. Her right lung is completely full and they were talking about putting in a chest tube, but after a second xray thought that might not be necessary. They have her on a couple of IV antibiotics and we are praying for a quick recovery. She is on oxygen, had a reaction to vancomycin and had to be put on benedryl for that. She is quite the trouper. When they were trying to get an IV in at Kaiser to transport they kept sticking her and she finally said "could you just try a different place?" I spent a bit of time with them, then decided I would go back to work for awhile while the docs worked her up and decided what to do. As I was walking back to my office I got a call on my cell from my sis telling me our cousin had commited suicide this morning. :sad2: This was as huge shock, the last person I would expect this from. His dad (my favorite uncle) has lost 2 wives in the past 5 years and now a child. :sad1: How much loss can one person endure? He can use lots of prayers. He is 82 years old and plans to fly back to Delaware for services. So far no one has been able to say they can go with him.

Wow this is alot to handle at one time. I am sorry.

Lisa: Our prayers are with Frank today. May he have a speedy recovery!

For all you guys: I can't keep up. I try, but I can't. So please know that I am with you albeit lurking a bit.

Question: I might be able to play bunco since my DD could swim while I played. What do I need to bring to get in on the game?

Talk to you later,

Tammy

Disneylover5 is organizing that - I don't recall you need to bring anything. I think it is hard for a lot of us to keep up. I am about 50 pages behind from the previous thread, and completely behind on this one. Just jump in when you can!

You mention DD swiming, which brings up my question: what age can a child swim in goofy pool unattended? I'm trying to come up with a list of things my 10 & 8 year old can do together. They are both really strong swimmers, although I do get very nervous about water activities. Lisa

I will talk with DrHug when he gets home and see if I can do a couple of days.

Ok, now I am going to try to catch up on this new thread. I will skip the last 10 pages of the old one.

Thanks for listening to my troubles.:grouphug:

:grouphug: :grouphug: Prayers and Pixie dust to you and your family. we'll be here for you, (and there for you) if you need/want us.

John

OMG Jon is my DH and we are talking to each other right now.

DEB and I have done this for ever:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It was funny because we could see each other from across the room.

all that worry about my car payment and BAM, I check Bank of America today and it has cleared.

That's good news! I have given up on checks and use the online billpay from my bank. I am forgetful sometimes so having everything set up and automatic works for me.

I would like to know this as well. I know at the club we belong to the age is 13 before they swim alone for safety issues.
