Welcome back nan...Sorry to hear about the cat 3, but I hope another disser got it.
My daughter is bored...on her spring break day 2..not looking good this week. yesterday the neighborhood kids had the day off because of Ceasar Chavez day?!? So she had friends to play with, but today no one. Poor Baby. Tomorrow she is going to spend the day at our neighborhood school, so at least she'll have something to do then.
Plus it's yucky here. So gray!
Alrighty, well have a nice day..i'll keep reading..

Oh and gaylean, I'm on day 2 of the diet..didn't do so well on day 1. Good start but at the end of the day I had a craving for taco bell..I know crazy, this weekend we stopped there cause I hadn't had it in sooo long and I had a crunch wrap supreme..so good. So I had my last one last night. Today had started off good. We'll have to be each others cheerleaders. I am GOING to lose the 5 pounds gained and hope to drop another 5 before this cruise. I am determined!

Steph

The crunch wrap! Ahh that was so very good. I have not gone back as I too am trying to be good after the weekend we had.

I have a bottle of patron just sitting wasting space in my liquor cabinet...I will bring it if you will drink it. I am not a tekillya kinda girl...

Today I did well on the calories, until 4pm...thats my evil snacking hour. Good news the ritz bits are gone, bad news they are all in my tummy....hee hee

Kelly - great news on the Kindergarten!

way to go Zoe on K of choice!

Congratulations - it is such a relief when you get what you want for your child
:woohoo: :woohoo:

Congrats to your DD Kelly!

Thanks all. I've felt a little drunk all day not being able to focus. I walked in slow motion through Target - picked up Alvin and the chipmunks. She could care less and has no concept of what is going on. DH is talking faster and floating around today. He's at a power school in B.hills tonight so I hope he can think straighter than I did all day. Since I wasn't thinking straight I worked on our badges/lanyards.

You know, I don't know if they lose their $99 reservation fee or not. I'm sure they must have had to put additional money down, once they received the final configuration email that they needed to confirm. I didn't ask.
.

No, they don't lose anything. They get their full deposit back.

no and I can't believe what Paul did, I'm going to kill him....

He doesn't listen to the home machine when I'm gone, and I forgot to get the code to check it when we replaced it a year or so ago (I have my cell, so I figure if someone wants me they find me) we got the call...yes, for the Cat 3 and we didn't call them back in time...I'm pissed...Do you think anyone will do anything if I call and explain?

Kim, did you get your call????

I'm going to kill my DH now, who is driving to Sacramento, who won't be home until late tonight, good thing for him.

Did I mention I'm pissed...

This was a first class April Fools Joke! I loved it! You should all know that sweet Nan felt bad if I freaked, which I did, and poor Kevin at DU must think I need professional help.

You were all so nice to think of me too! PJ even e-mailed me at work.

All I can say is, revenge is best served cold...... (not really, it was too good of a Joke)

Does anyone know if Sourmug (Martha) is still on our cruise? She was doing the Secret Mickey which I was very interested in having my daughters be involved with so if Martha is no longer with us then I am willing to take this on. I have sent her a PM twice and have not heard back either time so I am thinking she isn't here anymore.

I have posted this similar message before but then can't keep up with the discussion thread so if you are interested in a Secret Mickey event (same as Secret Santa) please send me a PM. I would organize the names I receive based on the ages of people interested and then give you the name of your person to buy gifts for throughout the cruise. It doesn't need to be expensive, just something very small each day of the cruise and then the opportunity to meet your Secret Santa near the end of the cruise. Children are very welcome to be involved in this event. I think it would be very fun for them and make it exciting to go back to the room each day to see if there Secret Mickey had been yet.

Making Memories - I sent you a PM regarding this as well. Not really sure who I should write to because I haven't been keeping up with the discussions at all but I noticed you were very active with the discussions. Have looked at the website and see we have many activities planned so it should be a great cruise.

I hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes because that is not my intent. If someone else is still doing this I would really like to hear from you.

Thank you,
Sandra

Oh, I SO know what you mean....ours happened quickly for a wildfire, but I dont know how you cope when it is quick as yours...a fire had been burning about 10 kms away for a couple of days, but one bad day we went from not really thinking about it to house exploding around us in about 30 mins. We beat ourselves up for years for not having the foresight to save our things whilst we had the chance, but hindsight is 20/20 isn't it....

To this day, I freak out when I see smoke in the sky (Sydney does a lot of hazard reduction burns in the off season), and as for rides with fire - i'm right there with you!!! I went through a volcano ride at Sea World here in Australia a couple of years later, and they nearly had to rescue me!!!

We have family in San Diego and we were so frightened for them with the last fires. Fortunately, they didn't have any trouble, but it seemed so huge I couldn't imagine what everyone was going to do...so nice of you to offer to take people in...that sort of kindness is what got me through too!

I know what you mean, people came out of the wood work to help me.

From August to the end of feb. I was following my nutritionist (through my doctors office) plan of 1200 calories per day. 5 meals 3 of 300 and 2 snacks of 150 plus walk/running on treadmill 3 miles per day. That combination whittled me down almost 40lbs. I got very cocky in March and started eating outside of that, snacking etc. additionally, I had some cramping in my legs and stopped the excersice. That combination helped me to put on 5lbs in march...which is ALOT. I am trying to go back down to the 1200. I didn't start to excercise yet, but I will. I need to do 1 thing at a time. The one thing I learned while watching what I ate, was that I do have the ability to say NO. I also learned that 1200 calories can be ALOT of food. I have every ambition and desire to lose those 5 plus...Thats my goal!

Great plan and if anyone can do it you can! :cheer2:

Disneylander's, is Roger Rabbit's ride really spinny. I get ill on spinning rides (can't ride teacups, can't Spin on Buzz etc.). Can I ride or should I stay away? I have only been to DL once before and can't remember if I rode it. We are using ride max and will only be there one day so I don't want to get sick.

Today I did well on the calories, until 4pm...thats my evil snacking hour. Good news the ritz bits are gone, bad news they are all in my tummy....hee hee

I did not eat any raviolis or pizza for dinner!

I have 1/2 a bottle of aneja and 3/4 of a bottle of silver. I also have a tequilla cream..full bottle. I don't even know where I got these from.
