Thanks all. I've felt a little drunk all day not being able to focus. I walked in slow motion through Target - picked up Alvin and the chipmunks. She could care less and has no concept of what is going on. DH is talking faster and floating around today. He's at a power school in B.hills tonight so I hope he can think straighter than I did all day. Since I wasn't thinking straight I worked on our badges/lanyards.

you should be proud and bask in the moment. It's not easy getting into some schools. Enjoy and float for a while.

This was a first class April Fools Joke! I loved it! You should all know that sweet Nan felt bad if I freaked, which I did, and poor Kevin at DU must think I need professional help.

You were all so nice to think of me too! PJ even e-mailed me at work.

All I can say is, revenge is best served cold...... (not really, it was too good of a Joke)

I'm afraid that I queered myself from getting the chance if one opens, but hey it was funny, but I did worry for you....

ok kids fed, Wilson too the trash to the street (good boy, as that is Daddy's job) Molly is done with her homework (only cried over it twice tonight) now I'm ready to dish, what up, no more sports ok??? shoes let's talk shoes!!!

I have too many to pack and I can't find any black dress shoes for Brooke.

Just finishing off my pre-trip shopping list....

top deck chocolate for Deb - check
REAL smarties for Susie - check

Anyone feeling brave enough for me to bring them some Vegemite??????

We, of course, would never leave the country without it....

Any takers?

Anyone, Anyone????????:rotfl: :rotfl:

NOPE!!!!

What is it exactly?

Sorry!!!

It is a VERY salty BLACK yeast-based spread that is incredibly good for you. You put it on sandwiches, toast, crackers etc...Aussie kids are brought up on it, and it is usually one of the first things we all eat...

It is made from the by products of beer production.....

It is YUM !:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I have 1/2 a bottle of aneja and 3/4 of a bottle of silver. I also have a tequilla cream..full bottle. I don't even know where I got these from.

can't carry them on the airplane, would you really put them in your suitcase. I'm really struggling with sending wine in mine. We love port, and have a few good ones that I'd like to enjoy, but worried about them breaking in our cases.

It's yellow and black. Just like this one (and yes, there is something strangely orthopedic about the car)

I also think that considering I am a "gentleman of a certain age" that I am not instead trying to buy a Corvette.

.

Love it!

What about BEATRICE?

or since it is a Smart Car--- POINDEXTER?

Bubble wrap and huge ziplocks! Or a stop at the liquor store once you get there.

.

You know, I am looking at it again and for some reason it reminds me of Dick Tracy-- with the yellow overcoat and all.

Thanks for the replies about Roger Rabbit's ride. Between what you said and mixed reviews, I think will skip it. Some got sick, some didn't, but better safe than sorry.

John,

I live on the northside, so I'm a Cubs guy.

But quite frankly, for me, baseball died when the Dodgers left Brooklyn.
.

Ian... know what the Mets colors represent???? Dodger Blue and Giants Orange... FYI... :goodvibes

Well Aunt Shell, I can tell you on this.. that I too have an aunt who didn’t have any children. And I am closer to her than my own parents! And I know that she loves me like her own child. They feel that love and the bond is special and can be held by nobody else.

Thanks Kelly... I needed that... I do believe that in some way they will always be in my life. I know I got things that their parents didn't growing up because of the time I spent with them... first steps, etc... :lovestruc

well it can't get here quick enough but I keeping worrying, gee I should have saved more money, lost weight, etc etc....but I am just going to be happy to get on the ship!

You'll be happy there... Nan's going to ply us all with RUM!!!

She has the new Castaway Club gift also (the red bag on top), must mean she has cruised on DCL before.

She "took" her entire family a couple of years ago when she still worked for ABC... wonder how much it cost her!!!

wonder if she dressed up for pirate night?

Well, I guess she'd need at least one suitcase for that...

:lmao: I really do think it reads my mind sometimes. So count me in the paranoid club. Note to self: buy more tinfoil to cover my head to block the computer's mindreading efforts.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

But Holly... how are the little green men going to get in???
