Actually, since I had just been laying on the couch for a nap, that's what "laying out" meant in my sleep mind! :rotfl: Sorry V!

HAPPY EASTER ALL

Kathe

Thanks Kathe. It's great to see you again.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANDA JUNE!

Who has a birthday on the same day as us?:lmao:

HAPPY EASTER BIRTHDAYS:flower3: to everyone!

Has everyone already seen this?

EASTER

Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify Passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Based on the above, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but that is pretty rare.

Here's the interesting info. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

We have heard bits of this recently, but not in so much detail. Thanks. And no, I wasn't around the last time Easter was so early!!:rotfl2:

A room #!

Would be a very special birthday treat. :thumbsup2

EXACTLY!!! I ordered flowers in the room.....no room number. I ordered a black and white tux package for John.....no room number. I want to do magnets for the door......no room number. Don't these people know how inconvenient this is for us homeless people in the lifeboats. Come ON DCL get us a room number already.....we only have 6 weeks to go!!!! (and a couple of days coz we're leaving on the 8th).

Exactly!! Don't they realise the inconvenience this is causing us? do they really care anyway?!!!!:sad2: :lmao:

Same to you Holly!!! How was Pancakes????
VERY yummy, and we both scarfed down tons of pancakes & sausage! Oh, and they had leftover cupcakes from last night too! Strange to have a cupcake with breakfast, but it works for me! :yay:

Internet not cooperating, so I'm glad there aren't many posts. So maybe I should take that as a hint to go clean some more. I think I'm done with that for a few days. Had enough yesterday. :thumbsup2 Might nap some more unless I can find something on TV.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CORK!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes, you are all a great group of friends and Thieves. :goodvibes

Besides cruisewear, I also need to buy a new piece of luggage...actually a large new piece of luggage. When my son flew out west in Nov I loaned him my large suitcase, they had planned on coming home for a visit before the cruise, but unfortunately that won't be happening. So, I need to replace it. I don't want to spend a fortune, but don't want it to fall apart after one or two trips either. Anyone have any brands they would recommend. My set is Swiss Army and I have had some issues with it, won't buy that brand again. Thanks!
Kathe

Quite a few on the board have ordered the Eagle Creek Big Rig 30,

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 OK, I'll ask.....Who is Wanda June?

I'm sure someone answered already . . . but it is a play by the now late great Kurt Vonnegut. I think Ian was just messing with you guys.

Amy arrived in Manilla safely and tired. Called me about 23 hours after she left.

Not heard of it sorry - perhaps American?

Glad Amy arrived safe and well.
