HUMMERZINE

Here is the current list after all cancellations etc:
fourmcds 4
liserann 4
nsjerven 4
ibounce2 1
Willoughbyclan 8
mexicanm. 3
wldwcnwmn 2
txsleepingbeauty 2
surf2di4 2
Tigger1221 2

TOTAL: 32

Has anyone heard from wldwcnwmn recently? I know she is still going, and she has 3 in her party now, I think, but I haven't gotten a confirmation from her one way or another.

We have room for 8 more at this point, we are leaving around 9am from the Hyatt and will make a 15 min grocery stop for any last minute things. There are 2 going, each one with a separate luggage van following behind. At the current total, the price will be $25.00 per person rather than $20.00 per person. I am not sure if that will change people's minds...but I would like to get a finalized list ASAP so that I know this is set. Right now these are on my credit card :scared1: :scared1:

So, if you are interested in joining us....please PM ASAP! If you are no longer interested in joining us....please PM ASAP!

Thanks!

I am so excited about this at the price is still good. Do we need to paypal you some $$?

I found some Dis green sandals. I have some other Merrells and they are real comfy

I really like these. I will have to look for them when I go shopping all day tomarrow.

That is the key question, isn't it? :lmao:

We can fit one of our normal shopping trips, no problem. But, we don't usally buy paper goods at Costco (we do that at Target), so our load isn't usually bulky.

Maybe I should bring a jumbo pack of Costco Kirkland toilet paper with me on Saturday and see if it fits in the trunk space.

I'll have a supply of the reusable supermarket shopping bags with me to judge how many of them I can fit in the trunk.

I figure if I use those at Costco instead of cartons, I can probably fit more in.

Even if I really like the car, there's still a 1 year wait.

I am pretty darn pale, but I am going to be outside each weekend between now and the cruise and hope to get some color! If all my freckles would just smush together I would have a smoking tan....price you pay for being a redhead I guess.

Sweetheart, how can you be pale? you go swiimming in your pool, you play ourside all winter! Remember, I am a redhead, too, and we only tan so MUCH! Hey, try Jergen's smooth on tan! Connie:love:

still no room gydell? I am sure they will update soon! Maybe they are going to be giving out lots of upgrades!!! This is our first time in an inside cabin....I am kind of nervous, but I do like the layout of the 10's.

Our son, Mike, doesn't have a room yet either! But I know he will! He'd better not get a better one than me!

I know many Canadians head to the US for cars, I wonder what the process is for Americans to buy a car in Canada, hmmm...Becuase we have smart cars in stock here and there are great lime green panels.

Bengal BBQ?

I was thinking of downloading ridemax...although they don't do info for Sunday's..!

I downloaded ridemax and love it, except it wouldn't load on my computer but did on DH's. They only have the info thru the end of April but I am using the last Sat. in April. I like it so far and it is alot less research and work for me.

:rotfl:

Unfortunately the Smart Car is about 2 grand more in Canada (I already checked).

Also the Canadian version is diesel (I think). I believe they are introducing the regular gasoline version in Canada this year along with it's introduction in the US.

(PS - Mrs. Bennett saw a photo of the Smart Car and I detected a whiff of jealousy in the air)

Can't you persuade them to move to Orlando? :)

They'd have an on-call babysitter. The weather is lovely. And they'd be living near the Mouse. What more could anyone possibly want or need?

Mary - I so agree, I have tried to talk them into it....but David's family is in MD so no chance.

The Tuxes Have Arrived

Unfortunately though, they forgot to pack in the shirts and a few other things. I could go bear chested and just wear the vest and the bow tie with the tails.

Not quite sure I'm Chippendales material.

I sent off an email regarding the missing items.

I have to say that I'm delighted with the tails and with the white dinner jacket. I tried on the tails and they are great.

I just now need to collect the other assorted accoutrements that I have in mind...

As my departed mother always said, "It's never done until it's over done."

Blue Bayou
Napa Rose??? I think its called
Chip and Dale bfast - and yes, I realize it's Chip and Dale not Chippendale!:rotfl:

V - let's talk. Storytellers character breakfast- yes. The other two I would skip since you only have a couple of days there and already have a brunch scheduled. Time is limited and there are alot of things we need to do/see in that short time.

My DH has a corkscrew on his Swiss Army knife that he usually takes on all vacations - it's really handy, got all sorts of stuff on it for pretty much every eventuality.

But we read somewhere that knives aren't allowed and would be confiscated, so he's never risked taking it.

Has anyone ever taken anything similar on board? Or had a problem trying to take it onboard?

You can pack a corkscrew or a swiss army knife in your CHECKED LUGGAGE, but not your CARRY ON LUGGAGE!

I got a laugh out of the juice box sized ones. I pictured us all with our juice box of wine and little straws by the adult pool. :rotfl:

I have had the Target Wine in a box, it's fine! But I like the Corbet Canyon Pinot Noir better......Target only has Chardonay, Chablis, Cabernet and Merlot.

Jackie offers good advice.

We once had to wait an hour at Port Canaveral to board because a Customs dog alerted to a disembarking passenger's suitcase in the luggage pickup area. Customs would not clear the ship.

DCL told us it was a bomb scare. We had to wait across the street with all of our luggage (there were no passenger drop-offs at the curb, and the porters could not accept any incoming luggage).

When the dog alerted, Customs thought it was explosives. It turned out to be food.

This also delayed all passengers getting off the ship.

Woody

After all the FOOD that we eat on a cruise, why would a passenger think they need to take FOOD home?

I don't do turkey legs, they taste yucky to me, and the bengal place too. I know some people like them and I understand we all have our own tastes in that regard. I do like the soup in the bread bowl that is my fast on the go meal in the park.

You are right that we all have our own tastes. My DL trip is not complete without a turkey leg, a Dole whip and a whole bag of sour balls!

Hummerzine...(again)

No need to paypal money or anything (thanks for the offers though:goodvibes )...the plan would be to bring cash for payment on the day of and then everything will be released off my credit card. I just really want to make sure that everyone is a go so that those of us who do go don't end up paying more than we expected.

And remember....there is still room if you are interested! Anyone else staying at the Hyatt interested in a great (and early) ride to the port?!
