Made my Palo res, was hoping for a Brunch, but will take a dinner --

Maybe someone who has a brunch wants to trade? The wife REALLY wants a brunch - just about any at sea day would do.

Still waiting for a room number???

You could give your names to PJ to be in the group brunch list. Not definite we will get one though. Actually once some groups do get group ressies for palo that will release their bookings back into the system won't it.

Well, if I put that in the mini-nav, that could be pretty interesting.....

:lmao:

HA HA...I have so many friends (let's see, there's now about 300 of us)...but ummm, since I'm not in the Walt Suite...please DO NOT come to my lowly cat 9 cabin. We might be just a tad cramped. :lmao:

Okay, so I thought I would go into the DCL site to see what came up. My shore excursions had been changed.

First, I was now booked on a Submarine in Aruba, which I know I NEVER would have signed up for. Then in Puerta Vallarta, my Outdoor Adventure with the zip line had disappeared. Totally gone. But, it wasn't full, so I booked again, but could not get a confirmation number. On the main "my cruise plans" it doesn't show up, but when I ask it to print a copy it shows up, so I printed that so I have proof! Got rid of the Submarine thing.

Anyway, everyone may want to look at their excursions again. I have to say this isn't the first time this has happened to me.
Yikes, I'll go check mine out. Thanks for the tip.

Hi everybody, having a nice time at WDW. The weather is perfect. We are staying at Boardwalk and the internet is just not working at all. They say too many people are here. That is just crazy. Pay 500 dollars for a room and it should have internet. That has presented a work issue. Oh well...

We are at MGM right now and the girls are in line at Tower of Terror. We spent the morning at Animal Kingdom. I think we are going to a water park tomorrow. I need some rest. It is fun to come with someone who has never been here before!

Hope everybody is okay. Hope I have not missed out on too much!

I'm Back!!!! :cool1:
Mexico was pretty good....did lots of :beach: and :boat: and party: occasionally too much :drinking1 which made me quite  and did no :surfweb: so I am waaaay too far behind to even imagine.

Hope everyone is doing well. Since I left after a few pages on part 6, I can't even start to catch up. If I missed anything major, please let me know:thumbsup2

I'll try and post some pics of the place later today if I am not asleep by 7! Vacation always makes me tired:confused3

One thing I noticed...for those of you still looking for mexico outfits, just wait until you get to port in Acap. The markets there have great outfits, we picked up 2 dresses for the girls for 10.00 total! They aren't super great quality but they will work for the party. Scott got a shirt there for 10.00 as well. Just a thought...one less to thing to remember to pack!

Lisa,

We picked up one of these from our local disney store, will you be bringing it on the trip?

I think we will - I plan to use it as our "toy chest." Put toys in for the 2 year old, Pokemon cards (sound like there will be trading on board!), lanyards with pins, pirate stuff, etc. Are you?
Lisa

Ugh 10 degrees!! It's in the high 30s and low 40s on Long Island this week. Thank goodess, because it costs so much to heat the house when it's cold!

Happy St. Pat's Day everyone!
High 30s-low 40s???? My heater would be on full blast! :rotfl: Us Californians are wimps!

Lisa, glad you're having a good time! You surely deserve the break!

Hello Holly

How are you? have not forgot about you:hug:

Scottishwee35
Hi Deborah! Oh good.....glad you didn't forget about me.

Good news: For some reason my internet has decided to cooperate at home for the moment, so I'm happy! :goodvibes Catching up here while Tyler's in the bath.

Well, off to read Tyler's bedtime book. Last night he was asleep by 6:30pm, so he got 13 hours of sleep, so I thought he'd be able to stay up a bit later tonight, but he's sleepy as can be. Good grief!

how did Liam catch ear infections? They aren't contaigous as far as I know?

Children's ears are much different than an adults...their canal is flat, a prefect breeding ground for bacteria and water, etc.

I have had ear infectiions in my left ear since I was a baby, even into adulthood. Claritin is good for adults or kids because it's the sinuses that drip down into the "flat" ear canal and that causes the fluid and infections. I take Claritin D and a prescription nasal spray almost every day for almost 10 years now,and it really has made a difference for me!

Part of my problems as a child was that antibiotics were not prescribed hardly at all, and decongestant medications were not even invented yet!

Remember, I am VERY old! :)

Quoting myself
Hey Karl (Surf2di4) - this is what I was telling you and Robin about yesterday.

After we parted I though of another really important thing to tell you about.

Get a see through over the door hanger to put on your cabin door to hold all the little things that float around your room - brushes, toothpaste, shoes, keys, goodies. It's well worth the space in your luggage.

Also, I bring a door stop. The doors are heavy and hard to hold open. Especially when the wind is blowing through from the balcony.
Also, don't forget an extension cord or something to convert to multiple outlets. There is just the two outlets above the desk available for use.

If you are in an inside cabin, you may want a nightlight also, even if you don't have kids. It's really dark in there!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I just came from our DISmeet brunch and afterwards I said to Curt "I keep forgetting how much Kelly talks".

Yes, she talks a lot, but not in a bad way. When she's talking she is probably saying something that you want to hear. She listens also and she lets you say a few things. :rolleyes1

BTW, there's as self-help group now for people who talk a lot. It's called On-and-on-and-on anon...

Just checking on this cruise as it gets closer to leaving. :surfweb:

Ours is the 9pack - it fits perfectly in the cabin coolers. you can keep it open or closed inside the cooler by using the gallon size ziplock. Refill the ice once per day. These soft sided coolers are supposed to keep ice for 24 hours. We've had it for several years now and it holds ice for more than 24 hours. We also have the 18 back pack cooler. We thought we'd use it on long excursions on the Med trip and ended up never using it. Maybe a larger family would use it more than we did. It's really nice. :thumbsup2

Thanks! Do you think the 9pack would fit a gallon of milk? I think that would be perfect! I wonder if we could take our gallon and just fill it up at breakfast? With 4 boys, we go through milk so quickly! Lisa
