sorry so big - I thought PB resized?

Great pics. And the size was just fine too. Certainly looked like a lot of fun! I know I was jealous seeing that beautiful weather today! The kid pics were great! I was always told that when taking pics of kids, get in as close as you think is good, then go a little closer. The faces were absolutely darling!

Nan, our DHs should get together for a lunch before our cruise. I bet they would have a lot in common. DH is getting busier now - what a relief. He actually should have worked today, but we both are feeling a little under the weather.

I've started my excel packing list - actually got if from a DISer that put together all the best tips as well as packing list info from the packing list thread. I just added a sheet with the kids rules - thought they were pretty good:

1. You must never, ever go into any other stateroom ever.
2. You must never, ever allow anyone into our stateroom ever.
3. You must check in on the marker board, by page or by phone. I have to know where you are at all times.
4. You must appear at pre-arranged meeting times and places.
5. I will need an introduction to your friends. (I really mean they have to just tell me who they will be with but if I'm on Deck 10 reading, I'll want them to stop up to say hello.)
6. You may not enter the elevators.
7. You must stay together.
8. You can only hang out in approved areas, such as the clubs, promenade lounge or pool area.
9. No randomly walking around or exploring.
10. No running or yelling.
11. Absolutely no Ding, Dong, Ditch (ringing doorbells and running).
12. You must eat dinner with us. (I’ll probably let them eat in the clubs later in the week but don’t want to tell them in advance).
13. You must participate is several family excursions or outings of my choice.
14. You must be in the room by 9PM unless you are with me.
15. You may not eat anything within 2 hours of dinner.
16. If you think I will think it is a bad idea, it is.
17. Any infractions of the above rules will result, without argument, in the removal of your sign out privileges.
18. No going anywhere near the railings and no throwing stuff overboard.
19. No room service without prior approval.

Are you going to do the birthday party at DL with Pat E. Cake when you are there?

Been there, done that. When each of the kids were 5 we did that. I'm working an angle with my cousin between her husband's cousin who has a link to club 33, that would be an awesome Pat.E.Cake for a grown up :goodvibes

I am also starting to feel overscheduled on vacation..anyone else feeling that way too?

Not yet, but I've thought about it as I've been signing up for this & that. I think about canceling out of things, but everything I've signed up for is something I like or want to learn more about. :confused3

If I start feeling pressured, I guess I'll bow out of something, if necessary.;)

Hoping I get it!!

Nice pirate Lisa. Pirate ye be.pirate:

Well we had one of the best days at DLR that we've had in a while. We met with a great group of people at the Brunch meet.

We are now home after spending the rest of the day at DL. We had our Dniece and Dnephew and went on quite a few rides. We did all of our "must do" list.
Since we are home late tonight, I will try to post pic of the meet tomorrow.

Hey everyone! We are back from Jackson Hole. The figure skating competition is over and it went really well. I have a very happy child. I need about 10 hours of sleep in row.

She is freaking out a little about not skating for 2 weeks on this cruise, her coach is going to give her some off ice stuff to work on, so hopefully it will not be too bad.

When the pictures come (I can't take pictures when she is skating, I forget what I am supposed to be doing and watch her instead. I have a whole video of the side of the ice skating rink) I will post some.

I know I have been gone a long time, I apologize, life just got in the way.

Kim

Welcome back!

Yup, that was my idea to Paul last week, hence the email request. I suspect Paul will have a moment to respond this coming week and they can get a date on the calendar.

Good List, coping it and going to show that to them...perhaps a laminate would be good for their pockets???

My response, my company now does one for all of the employees children and our entire goal is to fill every basket until there is not any room left. NO ONE leaves our easter egg hunt without an overflowing easter basket, slow kids, fast kids, shy kids and agressive kids. We have a lot of happy parents when we do this every year.

What a neat thing to do!

Ok - here are some pictures of our ride in the Lilly Belle today -

I can hardly wait to do this! Who knew--all you have to do is ask!

Nah, upside down on a string around their necks.

It is quiet here tonight, I'm waiting three minutes til summer golf signup happens, hopefully...

Good rules Lisa...I'm going to give that rule list to my dd too. She's going for the sign in/out priviledge. We'll see. She's already said, well if I'm with jacinda and molly then you know them...
Alrighty, anyways watching Michael Clayton right now..it's a good flick. Gotta fold the last of the laundry and go to bed so I can be at work bright and early!

Yes, we need to go by the stateroom numbers. sometimes previous cruisers have FE's as well. Last time I got all the stateroom numbers in EXCEL and I organized them by floors and the number of persons in the room. . It really helped!

I also think Linda is going to mark all staterooms of Disers in lime green on the deck plans.

I liked it lots too. So, I asked my wife if I could order one of those and she promptly hit me .... :headache:

Good!!:lmao:

DrHug said to tell you he has two of them, but keeps them stashed in the garage so I won't know. :lmao: I hit him too. ;)

Good for you too!!!:rotfl2:

HAHAHAHAH:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

ok, back to reality. It's beautiful and if you can wear that after 2 kids more power to ya sister :worship:

I'm with V no more triangle tops in my lifetime...oh those were the days...:rolleyes1 :sad2:

Never had a time for triangle tops in my lifetime!! :sad2: Too late now.:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Please do come by and say, and I am sure by then you have meet them and it won't be you know weird. I am not sure how many people will fit in since I have never seen the inside of the room yet. The handicap rooms we were looking at on the ta were the ones in the back of deck 6. Still hoping for a cancellation so we can have a real Dis party... I am hoping that their window will have some good photo opportunities out of it. I know I will be checking out that the first and playing with the days leading up to our arrival to the canal.

wow, your parent got the room 6000 (disability room)? Oh lucky, I am hoping upgrade to disability room because I heard that it is beautiful room.

Hi Kim

That is great about skating competition. I love watch the tv of dancing on ice as it was final last night. It was beautiful to watch people dancing and different things on skating. Yes, love to see the photo:thumbsup2

As far as the Canal day is concerned....
Is there anyone who will not be up on deck 10 besides me?!? We'll be there all day, and if you've seen one lock you've seen them all.

I can see a canal lock every time I look out the front of my house. :)

The ones on the Panama Canal work exactly the same way, but I believe they are slightly bigger. :lmao:

For me, I think, it will be seeing the approach up on Deck 10, and then I will be happy to go off and watch as and when from various parts of the ship. I have to eat you know!!!!!:lmao: I'm on a cruise and I have to eat!

Seems like there is a verandah crawl going on too!:rotfl:
