Goodmorning all, Well now DH is sick enough (still has to do 6 lectures today)that he will not be coming to the Dismeet on Sunday! And it's supposed to be cold and raining. Way to plan Kel! :umbrella::rotfl:

I wonder if the ship would allow us to bring GREEN balloons on when we board? I never thought of it. Patrick would love it!

Or maybe lime green beach balls.

The spelling seems "weird."Woody
I vote leave it as is, and see who sees it and if they do and they aren't us then it really doesn't matter, does it :snooty:
Chalk it up to real pirates most likely can't spell well any how!
No one ever said pirates was good at spellen.....;)

This whole thing is cracking me up. As a dyslexic, I would have never noticed.... Note to Kelly, change spelling on lanyards to "Theives"

Lastly, she got a part in the school play, Grease. Not a great part, but considering we are gone during the whole last 2 weeks she is very lucky. Turns out they had a big audition and not everyone got parts. The performance dates are the week we return 5/28-30. She will miss all of dress rehersal and we will miss all the parent work to set the set. One kid down, one to go :woohoo:

Might be less stressful for her to back out of the show.... "but we're really proud of you honey." When I owned my comedy club I learned the importance of being a professional audience leader (clapping and laughing at the right time)... Don't know if kids would really get that concept yet.

Exactly....poor guy. He fell asleep on the way to school from the OT appointment because she really wears him out. He absolutely loves those appts though. :thumbsup2

Well, that is very good.

We lived in Anaheim at the time. Off La Palma between Euclid and Brookhurst. We caugth up with the runner (literally) in Norwalk. We happened to be right by where they exchanged and the fellow who had just finished his run was gracious enough to pose for photos with folks who wanted.

I just loved seeing the torch. We are Olympic junkies! :yay:

I ordered the mouse pad and two shirts - they all had Thieves mispelled.

Mary - my stuff is misspelled too.....I know Deb's are too.

re cafe press...I set up the original store, if someone wants to set up another store with the correct logo, feel free!

Actually, you will be part of the group that first ordered, they have the "orginal shirts" it is a special status, or so they have told us, :). I will do mine as a custom order since I want a big big girl shirt, and will pull a graphic from the website.

Hopefully someone who has ordered in the last couple of months will have an answer on what happened with their order.

Pj

I thought it had been sorted after the first mispelt lot.:confused3

Thank you for all the replies. I should have checked with people on the thread before I placed my order.

The cost of shipping and then customs charges is too high for me to re-order (in fact, it just about doubled the cost  ). So DH and I (and our travelling companion, Gordon) will just have to be badly-spelled thieves! I'm sure we'll be in good company. :)

Spelling aside though, I would advise anyone thinking of ordering the baseball cap not to bother. The cap itself is nice, DH really likes it, but the logo just hasn't printed well - possibly because it is printed right over the seam at the front of the cap.

Happy Friday!

Well we had a bit of a fiasco last night....I was sitting on the couch minding my own business when fireworks went off, well, ok it was the transfusion or whatever box outside up the electric pole....well, half the house went black as did our neighbors, but the other ligths worked. If you turned the oven on the black lights would be on but very very dim, the higher the temp, the more power to the light.

So John is at softball, I report it to FPL and seems a squirrel got fried and they had to put a new thing up the pole. but then to do that our power went out completely for about 15-20 minutes! What a night!!

I am so glad it's the weekend.

Hey guys,

Was just going through some old photos of my old life and found these:

This was our baby Roo "Mushu", he was 9 months old and lived in a pouch I carried around with me:

Jolene -

I love the pic of Mushu! I think it would be such a neat experience to carry a joey around in a pouch. :lovestruc So is it actually ok to have a roo as a pet? Where is he now? Seeing a pic of a roo and a koala when I was 7 yrs old started my love affair w/ Australia.

How are things going? Hopefully calming down some for you.

Thanks, its not as many as I thought. I wish our captain would show back up as I liked her idea.

I am so upset with DH right now. He lost his passport and he told the girl scout he didn't want any cookies. I love the cookies with coconut, chocolate, and caramel but couldn't find any girl scouts this year. He likes thin mints but Keebler makes the same thing so I bought him some of those. They are great and he agrees they taste the same, but he doesn't like coconut so didn't get me any. Oh well my mom got me the kind with peanut butter. :) Off to search for the passport some more, this is why I keep all the important information.:upsidedow

Oh hi honey, Next time buy me my cookies.:rotfl2: (he is reading the Dis upstairs).

Don't worry, you'll get him better trained. It just takes a little time.
We'll celebrate 22 years during the cruise, and my DH is still learning! :lmao:

Saying that, as a surprise while we were at WL the other week he ordered me the tiara from Disney Florist. :lovestruc So perhaps he is almost ready to graduate. :)

aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

8 WEEKS FROM TOMORROW....

We'll be on the Magic!! :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cool1:  :cheer2:

Morning all,
I am trying to figure out if I should bring my laptop along with us. Hopefully I will not be doing any work on the trip as I should be getting an extension on my current contract to take me past when we come back from the trip. I was planning on using it to store and edit the many pictures I'll be taking, as well as using it as a DVD player for Liam's favourite TV show - Corner Gas. :happytv:

Anyone else bringing one along?

I am planning on bringing mine along. Mainly for what you said - a place to store my pics. I do have to keep in touch with the office while I am at WDW and DL as well, but not on the cruise. Otherwise I might have just tried picking up a smaller backup device if it was just for the pics.

All I can think of is the little squirrel :sad2: Glad you're back in the light.

What do you have planned for the weekend?

This is my plan.....don't want to deal w/ a laptop if I now have to deal w/ the cpap machine.
