To my dinner companions...I enjoyed dining with you all. I hope none of you think that I was not sociable. The dining rooms were so loud that I was having trouble hearing the person sitting right next to me. Or maybe it was one of those darn OG things.:confused3

Donna

Donna, I found the noise in the dining rooms to be a bit much by the end of the cruise. ALTHOUGH....sometimes....I was one of the people making it noisy. ;) I only did one night at Topsiders though (and one at Palo), as I couldn't pass up checking in with my table-mates.

It was a bit noisey in the dining rooms, but it was too much fun talking to my table mates. Never did eat dinner at Topsiders; was it good?

I am off to work as I have to now pay for the last two weeks! The photos are great!

Hope that those who lost luggage will have it show up very quickly and that those who are not feeling well are over it very soon too.

We ate at Topsider's twice. The peace and quiet was very nice and the food was quite good. One night we opted for chicken fingers and fries from Pluto's and then joined our dinner companions for dessert.:thumbsup2

Steve, it was a pleasure to meet you and your sons at the DIS meet. Sorry that we didn't run into each other again.

Hi everyone,
We made it home last night and off to work this morning again.

X is here until June 20th but things will be better now that we are off the ship, I am working and he is taking the kids on a few little trips.

A big "Thank You" to everyone who left the fun gifts in our Christmas Sock, my girls really loved running back to the room and finding all the goodies. They were all so appropriate too!!!!

Thanks too for the fun secret mickey exchange (DisneyRocks!), my girls enjoyed giving and receiving.

I really enjoyed meeting the people that I did get around to chatting with.

And finally, thanks to all the dis-kids who participated in the talent show dance skit! I got it on video if any of the families needs a copy. I was stopped by a few cast members later that said the kids were really entertaining.

Thanks you guys for making it such a magical trip! I hope you have wonderful memories to last a lifetime. . .

We were in the audience during the Mousekeeter event and I video taped quite a bity of Tyler's episode for you. I hope to get around to downloading it...I'll let you know when. It might be small enough to email, otherwise I can mail it!
Lisa
Oh my gosh, thanks so much! That would be awesome! He'd really get a kick out of that. :goodvibes

I got my delayed bag delivered to me....at 325 AM this morning!!! I was not a happy camper at that time!

Figured I'd put in my weight gain too.....2 lbs. Makes me think that if I'd been able to do the stairs as I wanted to I wouldn't have gained anything!

Kathe---I was telling Will about the 7 nt booked for 09 and told him that I didn't think I'd be able to do that short of a cruise now (hahaha). He told me to book a back to back.....so you never know...I may be on both of those w/ you!

Hi Everyone! I was so depressed to be off the Magic that I couldn't even bring myself to look at our thread until now!!! So sad! I was so nice to have meet so many of you yet there were many people I didn't get to meet! :worried: It was truly a magical trip. Sorry to hear that some of the magic was dampened with lost luggage, that really stinks!! And illnesses too! Mark came home with a cold but the boys and I are AOK for now. Today was their first day back. They're sad to be off the Magic, but glad to be home. I guess the only good news for me is that while I thought I had to have gained about 10 lbs (that's how I felt), I didn't gain any! However, my body fat did go up by 1.5% (my scale gives a rough measure of body fat...guess it was all those yummy desserts). Mark gained 4 lbs, so he's not too thrilled...especially, as my tablemates can vouch, he opted to eat "light" on some nights, go figure! HA HA HA honey!!!!

Thanks again, everyone!!! It was awesome!!!!!

I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you that kept us informed about your cruise. It was a lot of fun following along

Did anyone bring back menus and / or navigators and will they be posted somewhere for the rest of us to see?

Always the odd man out I've lost 6 pounds. Seems my regular at home diet of coffee for breakfast, junk food lunch at 3pm, normal dinner followed by Smarties and Dr. Pepper is much improved on the Magic with an omelet breakfast, chicken sandwhich lunch and normal dinner while traveling. Now to find that boot camp...after I get rid of the Cabo Crud. Wilson has a doctor appt at 2pm, not his regular doc, which is a bummer because he is good about giving me a prescpription too if needed, so I have my appointment made for Wed @ 4pm.

Paul is unpacking and the washer and dryer haven't stopped since we've been home.

I've looked for Casey a few times, hard to believe she isn't here. Whoever said coming home with her gone was going to be the hardest is right. I think it was Carol. How is Mickey doing???

We had a nice clean house and dog suprise when we got home. Our housesitter got the days wrong for the house cleaner so she came yesterday and our housesitter took our dog to the dog wash so she was clean for us too :worship:

Fire up news. Our friend, Ian, lost his house at the Sumitt in Santa Cruz and 2 dogs but his horses were found in a meadow a few miles away. Sad news is that his house wasn't insured. Can't understand that. Seems to me that is just part of the cost of living in a remote place like that.

Working on downloading pictures.

I have the navs and menus, will try to scan them & post. But I suspect that there will be someone (Linda seaulater) that will be on that sooner that me :rolleyes1

Oh, good grief! I just spent an hour wandering back and forth to the kitchen opening the refrigerator, freezer and pantry not knowing what to eat.:confused3 Guess I must have been expecting a buffet to magically appear. Settled on a bowl of oatmeal. Not exactly gourmet dining but at least I can have a good cup of coffee whenever I want now.:goodvibes

I have all of the navigators, although some got folded. I hope to include PDFs of them in my trip report/blog/whatever-you-call it

I took pictures of most of the menus, and snuck out with some others *cough cough*

When David brought my my coffee in bed yesterday morning (yes, I'm TRULY spoiled!) my first words were " OH HURRAY! A REAL CUP OF COFFEE!!!") That's the best part of being home!

Lisa.......poor Mark....don't tell him that Scott gained 4# too....and he didn't opt for the "lighter" fares!!! :lmao: I actually came home weighing about 2# heavier, but boy none of my work clothes fit:confused3 Back at home, time to start the healthy eating kick again. I have found it hard to cook though...YUCK. And, Taylor informed me today that a bagel with peanut butter was just not a good enough breakfast, she wanted fruit, cereal, sausage, eggs, bagel and donut!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to recover from the shock that we are not on the ship still. My kids went back to school today and I am getting stuff done. I had a great time. This was the best vacation ever. We really enjoyed meeting all of the people we got to know. (You know who you are). We enjoyed the food on the boat. If the food was not that great I kept thinking about what we saw and how the little kids selling chickelets would feel. I feel so fortunate that we were able to see the things we did and do the things we were able to do. The only thing I wish is everyone that was fortunate to be on that boat is to count your blessings and appreciate every moment and time you had.

Hey, where are all the pictures?

I went to the $300.00 store and this was the kid's list:

peaches
cherries
strawberries
blackberries
apples
grapes
bananas
fresh pineapple

This dang cruise has lasting effects on the pocket book :scared1:

When I picked up the cherries Brooke said "No, the ones like the shirley temples". Now we'll see how much of it goes bad.

Well we made it home. My computer will not connect to the internet so I once again have to wait till DH gets home to use his computer. I spent the day doing laundry and playing with my sister. Our cats are glad we are home and are very cuddly. I have to call work tomorrow and tell them I am back in town.

It was great to meet everyone. DH plans to finish his trip report soon. I will upload pics soon hopefully too. I am starting not to feel well.

Jill, hope you get a good sleep and feel better tomorrow.   Hugs to everyone who needs them, sorry so many are feeling sick.

I agree, it really was great to meet everyone :)

We're home and I'm showing them again, BECAUSE I like to see BIG pictures :goodvibes

Sick count here:

Paul - ear infection or crud
Nan - sore throat, coughing up a lung or 2 and snotty nose
Wilson - snotty nose and cough
Molly - PERFECTLY HEALTHY and ready for dress rehersal tomorrow night, why is she the lucky one??? Okay, I know she is the nice one, well Paul should be healthy too then right????

All bags accounted for.

Off to weight myself, I think I lost....BBL

Did you take pictures? I want to see the coin.
