I was on an rccl for my sis wedding and my bar bill was 1k..just for me in 7 days...I couldn't believe it

she has dementia. She is very forgetful and sometimes arguementative. It's hard to have to be the parent of your parent at the doctors office. Yup it wipes out the rest of my day usually.

I'm sorry. My mom has been argumentative my whole life so I can't even imagine. Here is an example. Today we spoke on the phone for maybe 5 minutes. She asked what we would do for mother's day and I told her we could celebrate them both on father's day. After she was done yelling at me she said "What's wrong with you, it sounds like you're wired? You keep talking". I don't even remember talking because she was yelling at me the whole time. Anyway, we'll move up there when mom gets dementia, alright?

OH yea...but I learned my lesson..the hard way, but a lesson learned..
I'll be bringing my alcohol with me, and a nice proper cup big enough to hold it!

Ok I had a very bad day at work. I am available 2 days a week for a total of around 20 hours. Well next week is my last week of school and my manager scheduled me almost 40 hrs and 5 days without asking me. I told her I couldn't work that much and she said too bad you have to. I of coarse don't have to as that is not my availabilty. Well if I tell HR or her manager she will look for a way to get me HUGE trouble. Today she wouldn't look or talk to me.She wanted to write me up b/c I called in Monday. I haven't called in in months (I have worked her 7 years). Thanks goodness my best friend is also a manager and warned me.

I really want to get it fixed but she will punish me if I do. Our HR won't tell her but she will find out. She basically threatens us not to tell what she does to us. She tells us all the time she can fire us anytime she wants. Its getting really old so I am thinking on going over there either tomarrow or Fri and hope she doesn't see me talking to HR. Last time I talked to HR we all went as a group and she wrote the whole team up. Everyone quit but me and now all the new people are quitting too.

Thanks for letting me vent. I hope to talk to my best friend and her boyfriend (both managers) about what to do tomorrow.

Tell them you are going on vacation in a few weeks and you will be useless anyway. That's what I told the kids!

Don't tell anyone around here but I'm bringing 4 bottles of Seagrams if you want to come over. I already "mock" packed and weighed it all. Do you like regular or VO?

sad to have that all the time. for me it was the opposite. my mom was really nice and can be sometimes, other times she acts like a child. it's hard. she also can't be trusted with alot of stuff, we have her meds delivered to her daily and I do all her finances. I'm sure this is better than a crabby mom from the get go, but I feel like I lost both my parents when my dad died a few years ago.

Afterwards she said it went well. She told me some of what was said and I think she did good. Some of her answers quite good.

However, tonight she was second guessing some of her answers. Which is typical when you have time to reflect.

They told her that they would let her know next week. So now it is just a matter of sitting back and waiting .... And getting ready for the trip! Having the trip to keep her mind off it will probably be a good thing.

Oh that makes her even more angry!!! She hates when I go on vacation. I really don't like my job but I have worked there so long I don't know where to go. I work at Target. She sent me home early today and I was in tears on the way home.

So proud of you for taking care of your mom. My siblings and I fight over who will be responsible for our mom if someone needs to be. She's not a nice person and none of us get along with her, so it'll be difficult...of course my brother and I tell my sis that we'll be shipping her off to texas to live with her since she has the biggest house!

This is only the 2nd tooth, from both kids, that have actually made it under the pillow. We usually have to write notes because they lost them and Ethan swallows them!

I'm sorry but when my dad was in ICU last year she got worse so I can only imagine. What I hate the most is that she lays it all on me because I am the only kid that cares anymore. She did less for me then the rest because they needed her more so it's hard.

Shaelyn has always been worried about swallowing her tooth, so when it gets close (and I mean really close cause she is a real wimp) she tends to eat food that will help it along. Apparently, tonight was no different. Chomp into some meat and out it came.

Taylors first tooth lost was swallowed...oops. She was 5 and cried and cried cause the tooth fairy wouldn't come. So we wrote a note for the toothfairy and she still got her quarters.
