I am on the phone with DCL, they are saying I won't know dining rotation until check in.

I requested the 8pm dining time, when I did, the CM told me that if we get that time ("there are no guarantees) the rotation is APL. She said the 8:15pm time is PLA and the 8:30pm time is LAP.

1st Show... right after Happy Hour... :thumbsup2

Just remember... it was Marlon Brando that sang "Luck Be a Lady tonight"

She's workin on it!!! :worship: :worship:

She loves that song, but it wasn't her favorite, I think she might be singing Guys & Dolls.

I'll just swing by your table and pick up my drink there, ok?

Ahhh yes, and the drink..How could I forget that!

I thought you ordered it and drank it!

We never did the photographs so it wasn't a problem for us.

hmmmmm no pictures, that's a thought...NOT!!! :lmao:

hmmmm - I am on hold. WOW, she transferred me to a supervisor and he said dining is not assigned until within 7 dyas of your travel date. I did mention the DIS boards, which "of course" he knew of, but he still assured me no one is assigned yet. You can request specific rotations or times and they will try and accomodate you.

What? I just really wanted the time!

You can request a dining time...that's what I did. I didn't request the rotation but I asked because I was curious. Like I said, the CM told me that they'd put the request in but there are no guarantees, which is fine.

Holly, sorry to hear about the interview not landing the job. Something will come, doors open and close and windows too, we never know what tomorrow will bring.

No prob on the drink... will tell waitstaff to have an extra ready...

Note to waitstaff... hit Nan with Rum on her way into the Diningroom.... try not to get it on her dress... she has to pose for pictures...

Hey...you think we should get a Royal portrait done???

Let us know what you think we should wear...I'm thinking of leaving the Ermine wrap at home though...

That's a good way to look at it... will have to remember that...

I get 5 weeks vacation OR I will be retired if our property is sold. I put in my leave request to cover my bases, it's approved. And I am taking 4 weeks, not 2.

And I take off whenever I want to. Heh heh heh !
I work PRN too. In fact, that's the company's name...PRN Health Solutions.

. . . on my way to DISNEYLAND!

Anyone in the OC gonna be around this weekend? I have a commitment at 11am saturday for and hour, but them I'll be around the park. Kelly, woody who's up for mini meet?

. . . I will check the boards tomorrow from conceirge. So feel free to pm me if you're interested in a meet.
Steph,

Are you going to Disneyland both Saturday and Sunday? I might be able to meet Sunday around noon.

Woody

I'm not sure of the sunday schedule yet. We won't find out if the girls make it to finals until saturday night. Finals are Sunday, but times are determined after the saturday competition. I'll pm you saturday if I'll be available.

What time? I probably won't be down until after 3pm, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

We'll probably only be there until 5 or 6. At least that's our normal time but we will be a little late getting there - not until about 9:30 usually we're there before opening but have an appointment at 8 so getting a late start.

If you only have one day I would pick the zoo over Sea World - the Sea World in Orlando is better. Plus the zoo is located in Balboa which has lots of other things to do and see - really pretty location.

Let me know what you pick as we usually have passes for the zoo. (we're going there this Saturday).

Have to give dinner a though - we'll figure out what we're in the mood for at the end of the cruise.

We'll have to rethink our plans in town then......either way, dinner is on and sounds like a good plan.

Allrighty..sweet disney dreams to all. Must get sleep for my long drive tomorrow. Cya at the mouse house.

Please don't get your hopes too high. My ASL is very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very rusty. Which is too bad, because when I was younger I was quite fluent in sign.

Don't Worry :thumbsup2

Oh, forgot to mention yesterday. I got my official rejection letter from that law firm where I applied last month. Oh well.....plenty more opportunities will come along. :thumbsup2 Besides, as stressed out as I've been, I can't imagine the added stress of learning a new job.

Holly

I am sorry to heard that don't give it up, try again:thumbsup2

Crashing the thread, Ken? :lmao:

No, I am not wearing my kilt to help you pick up the smart!

I don't have any photos of me from that trip, although I do have one of me and my younger brothers that were taken about a year ago. (I am on the left).

kilt.jpg

You look great! Looking forward to seeing all the kilts!!!

Deborah, I hope your men take theirs.

I have some tops I bought at Chicos over the years (on sale & w/coupons) that I mix up w/my black pants and skirts for "dress up". Comfort is the key!

Oh V, just wait 'till you get to 40...and 50...and...:lmao:

that was what I was telling her. Much harder.:sad2:

Sorry about that Holly, but when you are ready the right jobe will be there for you.

VERY cool picture. Makes me wish I was there now. (On the sand of course, not hovering hundreds of feet above it).
:lmao:

He was released from the hospital today but is in so much pain that we couldn't go home yet. With a seven hour drive it is just too much for now.

Hope he is soon feeling up to the drive home.

When the nurse called this morning to check on my mom I asked her to thank the surgeon for the great job he did. Still no pain and we are more than 30 hours out of surgery. I need to head home tomorrow and I am feeling very comfortable doing that since she is doing so well and getting around with no problem. She soon will be ready to dance with the pirates again!

That is just wonderful.

Ok everyone...

Mini not so sort of rant here...

I had a bit of a breakdown this morning...

Work has become a nightmare in the short run... the financing for this trip may be caught up in the mess...

I woke up in imense pain this morning and had to take 2 straight painkillers (as opposed to 2 crooked ones :rotfl2: - see Nan...I'm still laughing...)

Ended up sleeping most of the morning....

Spoke with work @ 3ish... got lots of specs and info that I swear went not even in one ear, but fully around my head (the phrase "why is he telling me this crap" went through said brain several times...)

Got no real answer to the finances part... :sad2:

Got hung up on when he had to take another call...

Sat there and sincerely started to cry...

Decided to take a short walk because if I didn't I wouldn't see the sun again until Sunday (storms coming in for tomorrow and Saturday...)

Came back in.... took 1/2 of something to calm me down (sometimes the pain meds make me nuts...)

Curled up with Jeremy (see above picture)

And fell asleep watching MSNBC and all the election crap. (can you imagine the weird dreams I have when I'm on meds... add Chris Mathews...)

I'm a bit better tonight, but I still have to try and get an answer tomorrow about the cash... Friday isn't the best day to find that stuff out... banking closes early for them...

Oh and I have a Frosty from Wendy's in the freezer... a saving grace...

So... that's me for now...

Hoping to get back to using happier smilies very soon...

I need spring... Is it coming soon???

 and some:sunny:

Aren't you helping Cheri?:lmao:

Good Morning All - It's Friday - yippppeee.

Cheri - What a wonderful thing for you to volunteer for. We do not have kids so I have not been participating in the discussions on homeowrk, but your offer is so wonderful I had to say Thanks......

Glad to hear it because I was thinking the same thing. I was even questioning the pirate stuff for DH and me because it would take up a lot of room. The kids are Captain Jack and Elizabeth Swan and her hat is going to take up a lot of room. DS just has a wig with a rag. I was starting to think I'd be wearing that formal dress all day or I guess I could scare you all and wear my bathing suit everywhere. :scared1:

Normally we drive to and from the ship so packing has never been an option. I have decided not to worry about the suitcases - within reason. This is a vacation of our lifetime. So while I will not pack 14 different outfits, I am not going to be so skimpy that I am not enjoying myself. If I have to pay extra for the suitcases for the flight home (we are still driving to the ship) then so be it.

Hey I packed for a week dive trip with gear for two of us with under 40 pounds per person.

I will have two formals. I went looking for a new one for the 11 night SC at a high end resale store and found one for $15. Then I was in Penny's and found one one their sales rack for $12 but when I paid, it ended up being $9. By the time I had them altered and cleaned they were still cheaper than one new one would have been. :thumbsup2 Couldn't resist such good bargains so I now have two formals.

Carol

Lucky you - we all should have such great shopping skills.
