A little question for you wine connoisseurs out there.

My wife and I are NOT wine drinkers. I will occassionally have a drink of wine but my wife has never really acquired a taste for it.

She doesn't mind champagne tho, and last time at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival she discovered she likes Creme de Cassis in the champagne. However, we have been trying different types of wines lately (ok about 4 or 5 so far) to see if we can find something she likes. I pretty much will drink any type so far. Recently she tried a white zinfandel and didn't mind it.

We noticed that there was one on the wine list for the cruise - Beringer White Zinfandel. So we went to the local Liqour store and bought a bottle and she didn't mind it either. But ... the 750ml bottle only costs $10 here. Online I think the price was $26.00 for on the ship.

So now the question: Is this for the same size bottle or is it bigger????

All of this talk about people staying before the cruise and people staying after the cruise is really bumming me out (yes, that's what I said, I graduated high school in the very early 1970's)

I wish I could either get some time before the cruise or even better, a few days afterwards to go to DL. I could not swing that with work, I haven't asked, but I don't think I could swing it. People are shocked that I'm going to be gone from work for 2 weeks.

I'd have done it for the Tequilla... but then the cops would have been called and they would have arrested the turtle and the rabbit...& there would have been such a scandal...

MGM seemed alot more crowded than usual. MK today was NUTS! probably not bad to some, but 30 min on Haunted Mansion, 80 on Space Mtn, we did wait 15 for Buzz.....but it was CROWDED!

We leave here on May 2 and return the 30th or 31st, or maybe June 1. That is if our house has not sold by then. I put the leave request in "just in case" and saw last week that it was approved. If the house sells before then, we will be officially retired and will only need to be back here by June 6 for DGS graduation.

yes 1982 ROCKS!!!! I'd bring my year book, I was much smaller then (size 2) but it makes me sad, so forget it.

Yes, I will let her decide and in that vain, she can make the call to the hair salon to make the appoointment, which will never happen because she doesn't remember that stuff in the right places, driving in the car, at night or on the weekend. When she is ready for it, she can make the call or ask me to help at the right time, then I will know she is really ready. Until then I'd be doing the arranging and that doesn't make sense to me for something like this. She also needs to get the application from the locks of love website and yes she knows how to google for fun stuff, so again when she is ready she will figure out that part too. I'm safe on this for a while I suspect.

Molly did another booth today at Trader Joe's then during our scout meeting we worked on the Walking for Fitness badge and she dislocated her knee while doing cool down stretches. It went back in pretty quickly (before I could get to her) but it was scary nonetheless. So long afternoon and we are tired...

Hey nan I donated to lock of love about 5 years ago. used to have really long hair, down to my butt...mostly because I was lazy and just never got it cut. Then I braided it and cut it off. I won't let it get that long again.
