All of this talk about people staying before the cruise and people staying after the cruise is really bumming me out (yes, that's what I said, I graduated high school in the very early 1970's)
I wish I could either get some time before the cruise or even better, a few days afterwards to go to DL. I could not swing that with work, I haven't asked, but I don't think I could swing it. People are shocked that I'm going to be gone from work for 2 weeks.
.
Another child of the '70s!
I think we should all bring our high school year books and have a time warp party.
Ok so I have had a very rough day.
Also wanted to giveto anyone who needs them.
ok, that makes me feel better, she may not be ready yet and I'm not for sure...
2 dogs, 1 turtle, 1 rabitt = petsitter...$40+ per day![]()
The hair was a whole other thing. My hair was a bit long, and combed really goofy. I really do not like that HS yearbook photo.
A little question for you wine connoisseurs out there.
My wife and I are NOT wine drinkers. I will occassionally have a drink of wine but my wife has never really acquired a taste for it.
She doesn't mind champagne tho, and last time at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival she discovered she likes Creme de Cassis in the champagne. However, we have been trying different types of wines lately (ok about 4 or 5 so far) to see if we can find something she likes. I pretty much will drink any type so far. Recently she tried a white zinfandel and didn't mind it.
We noticed that there was one on the wine list for the cruise - Beringer White Zinfandel. So we went to the local Liqour store and bought a bottle and she didn't mind it either. But ... the 750ml bottle only costs $10 here. Online I think the price was $26.00 for on the ship.
So now the question: Is this for the same size bottle or is it bigger????

I bring the normal deck of cards, the phase 10 deck, and dice w/yahtzee score pad.

Sorry Ian... want to throw me to the sharks??? 24 days door to door... but I will have to work on the cruise... Does that make you feel any better??? Ok...I won't have a fruity fatty drink while I'm working...
Ok... you guys outdid me... Child of the 80's (actually 70 & 80's...) Graduated in 82... & I'm leaving my yearbook home - less to carry...
Nan...let her decide... I know you love her long hair, but it is a GREAT lesson for her and I'm sure she already knows that it is a very special thing to do!!!
I'd have done it for the Tequilla... but then the cops would have been called and they would have arrested the turtle and the rabbit...& there would have been such a scandal...![]()
OK John, I've thrown down the gauntlet:
Now let's see YOUR picture!!!![]()
