Hi how is everyone?
The doctor's have determined that Frank's heart is not strong enough right now for Gall Bladder surgery. They are going to keep him on pain killers for 3-4weeks and then do the surgery.
At least that is the plan today.....tomorrow that might change again.

It must seem neverending for you all.

Since he got sick again on Monday, he has been very depressed. Tuesday was the day he was allowed to start to drive again.....we will have to put that off for a while now. He has lost his independence.

I have been spending every free minute I have at the hospital. I just can't go tonight. I have called him twice, but no answer....so that worries me. My day started at 4:30 as I had an all day meeeting in Baltimore. It started at 7:30.

I got cold stares from my mom when I got home.....I just don't understand why she has to be so mean. I know she is mad I spend time with Frank....but Don is totally tied up with Footloose this weekend (6 shows...1800 tickets sold already) and Gretchen and Annie are in the cast....Don just can't do it. So it falls on me......I don't mind at all...but it really makes my mom mad.

Oh well, I can only do the best with my resources...

Daniel is home safe and sound.....that means our cruise is getting closer. I still have not told my mom I will be gone....she will just have to get used to the idea.....

Take care Lisa and relax when you can. I guess even if you spent all your time with your mom she wouldn't be much better. would she?

I hope poor Frank imporoves quickly and can get the op sooner rather than later.

Thanks for such a warm welcome. Everyone seems so nice on here.

It's just the four of us going on this trip - me, dh, ds(5) and dd(3). This will be our first DVC stay at OKW from May 4 - 10 and then after the cruise we are staying at the GC until Wed. I'm so excited for this trip but I think I'd be more excited if could get a stateroom number assigned. I feel really displaced being GTY but I guess I shouldn't complain since we only booked in January.

I've been skimming through some of the old posts and I thought I was the only one having problems booking excursions at the 90 day mark. I should have found this thread earlier... I wouldn't have been so frustrated knowing others were having the same problems. I never was able to get a reservation for a Palo brunch after being online until 1:00 am (4 hrs total). I managed to get only 2 of the 4 excursions I wanted that night and booked the other 2 the next morning.

We are staying at BCV for 4 nights before the cruise. We have a 'meet' in DTD on the Friday at 4.30 at the stage area opposite Ghiradellis. Perhaps you can get along to that and meet a few of us.

We are back and got total Techno immersion tonight! We liked the music (reminded us a bit of Disco with more beat, but along the same line) and the kids had a great time. There were 5 boys who did all the orgainzation for this whole gig and the school staff that was there was AMAZED at how well it went and how much fun the kids had. They also were AMAZED at the amount of money the boys raised for the band. Over $1700 after all their expenses, which were few because they got almost everything donated. The school staff were also amazed that they got so much donated stuff. Anyway they are stoked and cannot wait for Monday when they can share with their band teacher how much money he is getting for his program. They were hoping to make at least $600.

You two are just such teenagers!!!!!

They are working on cruises before ours.

But ours is more importand dontcha know!!!

Oh god, more stress, for me to ask every customer

In April, they will give away life bag until May.

I did see it on the news and chat shows. I won't pay for one to advertise M&S - I think they must be rubbing their hands in glee getting us all to pay for some of their advertising. However, I do agree with the sentiment about our using too many of them I have a few of the lifetime ones from Asda, but I keep forgetting to carry them around. Going to have to remember now I suppose. Used to have to carry a shopping bag everywhere in the old days( yes I am that old)

You might just get a little grumbling Deborah on those days but at least you are giving the lifetime ones out free for a while.

If only they would cut down on all the other packaging and not just get us consumers to pay yet again then we might all feel a bit better.

Years ago we used to shop at Sainsbury's and they wouyld give a penny for every bag you brought from home. Then they had a place where you could donate that money to charity. We used to do this, but then we shopped by car, now we are near a town centre and walk.
