This must be my lucky week. We went to Disneyland Resort twice. In addition to my getting invited to Club 33 at the last minute, when we were with Edna Mode (Kelly) on Wednesday, we all received free silver Mickey Ears (it's part of the Year of a Million Dreams promotion). I never thought I'd win anything.

This morning, as we were going through Tarzan's Treehouse, DW got a call on her cell (from some friends just outside the tree house), then told me, "Go to the exit, NOW!"

I know better than to ask questions, and went straight to the exit, where cast members were handing out silver Mickey Ears. As soon as I got my ears, they ran out.

Note to the men out there: If your sweetheart says "NOW," don't ask questions.

Note: Tonights booth sale was 148 boxes....bringing her to 261 so far. Not the best year for sure, but we have 3 more booths so she should get to her magic # of 550 boxes.

Welcome! We will be at OKW may 8-10th. Then onto the cruise. My dd is 9. All of us had some problems booking excursions/palo etc. It just stinks that those that chose to express their frustrations were sent form letter responses. That says to me that either a.) there were so many people that complained that they had to send those out or b.)they just don't care. I wish disney would take a cue from other cruise lines and have a proper booking system. I have never had those problems on RCCL or Carnival or even (old school) Royal Cruise Lines. For the extra $$ we pay for a disney cruise, I expect their system to be above par, not well below.

I totally agree with you. Have you stayed at OKW before? I'm not sure what to expect especially in the way of food. I have to keep up with the "stomach-stretching" marathon in order to take full advantage of the awesome food on the cruise.

Ok, watching lost now....just the beginning

I was given season 1 for Christmas (plus rented the next 2 seasons) and just finished everything this week -- I'll admit, I am hooked. Now I don't know what I am going to do having to waiting a full week for the next episode. Especially now that it is soooooo interesting.

General question, what kind of gifts have been in previous fish extenders? I am still sitting on the fence about being a part of the extender team and hanging an extender. Not sure the boys would get much out of the items or if it is worth the extra space for all the treasures back here at the house (My mom still comes over, looks around my house, and then says, well at least the ceiling has no clutter on it!) Any thoughts and advice at this late hour?

Ok so I am working on the Scavanger Hunt tonight. I am finding out some very interesting facts. But I have never been on the Magic so DH and I will be doing the hunt before we give it out, just in case. Hopefully you will see some new things. It is simple enough for kids but they might need an adults help on some of it.

I'm sure a more experienced person will answer... it's just small gifts - some are putting stickers and such for the kids - things from their home towns... etc...

I think it would be fun for your sons... give them something to look forwards to everyday... (I think almost all the days are covered... )

Not Monica but on that group and yup 8am. Since we are on vacation I can join you, when we get home I'll have to go back to my sleeping in routine. Funny Paul says he wants to sleep on vacation...hmmm might be because he takes the kids to school everyday....
