off to take the kids to school, Paul is in Atlanta. Got bumped on his flight at 4pm so he ended up on the red eye, but in first class...he is soooooo tired....we miss him. He doesn't travel very much without us. I couldn't read last night, the board went down so I'm back on page 6 and catching up. I'll see you back in real time around noon (my time)

Well then he got to feel our storm early this morning. Winds up to 70 miles an hour and rain, rain, and more rain!

I had my nose operated on about 15-20 years ago... The ENT told me that I had a deviated septum and chiseled off a piece of bone. It's nice and straight now... and I can tell everyone I had a nose job even though it doesn't look any different... Also ask them for one of the nasal sprays... they really help alot. Another pair for me to try!!! I can't get into anything for Palos...think it may be because you are CC members and I am not?? I'll take any day at this point!!!

Very interesting, I'm using the nasal sprays for a year while deciding to have the surgery for the deviated septum... HHHHMMMM

The mask can be quite fun if you like to play fighter pilot. "Blue Leader, Blue Leader, this is Red Dog one, how do you copy?" Then you just make up stuff as you go, like "Bandits at 1 o'clock!"

Oh and did anyone see the response Jimmy Kimmel gave to his GF Sarah Silverman...if you don't know what I'm talking about and you like dirty(language) songs that are hysterical....google sarah silverman/matt damon and after that (must be after) jimmy kimmel/ben affleck......
I am not a fan of the language in general, but it's too freakin' funny IMHO

I'm sure with six threads for this cruise meet that this has been said before, but here goes. Castaway Cay day is Mother's day this year. Do you think they will have something special for it.

They did not do anything special, but several of us did special things for others and many of the dad's took care of the kids to mom a break that day.

John, Samantha and I have a WDW one day pass...which we will probably never use...thus I was going to turn those in and buy us one day park hoppers....for $263. a two day for Haley would be $112 for $375 (gosh that seems a lot!)
an AP deluxe is 259..not sure of the blackout dates though. And if it would give me any discount on the GC.....

We're also trying to dream up some way to get together while on Castaway Cay and do some kind of rememberance/tribute to our moms who have passed.

I haven't come up with anything other than a 'toast' at Heads Up bar. Thought about tossing flowers/petals into the ocean at Serenity Bay...don't know if they'd let us do that.....don't know if they'd let us take flowers off the ship. Anybody have any ideas?

I have been thinking on this too, and most of what I've come up with I don't think disney would let us do. The toast and a might be the way to go. Maybe share a happy memory we each have of our Moms.

GC AP rate is the same as what I have...

DL Hotel standard room $260, $234 AP/AAA rate so that would be $538.20 plus resort fee $561.20... gosh that is a lot still for two nights!

Another school snow day!

That's so crazy that you're farther SOUTH of my and have had so many school days. We've had 3 I think, which is a lot for our area. We're only a couple inches away from having the heaviest snowfall winter on record for Lansing. I'm sure Sophia is enjoying her snow day!

Can't stay and play today. DD's DFIL fell and broke his arm. He has to have a total shoulder replacement on Thursday. So, her DMIL has to drive him to his cardiologist for tests. Today was DMIL's babysitting day. So , now I'm on Grandma duty today. Off to play with Eric.

Oh no! I hope he recovers quickly. Have fun with Eric today!

I also think that the AP rates I've seen people quote are much lower than the AAA rate. It looks like you would come out about flat if you got one DL AP and was able to get the DLH AP rate, and a bit more ahead if you could get Paradise Pier.
