I'm sure with six threads for this cruise meet that this has been said before, but here goes. Castaway Cay day is Mother's day this year. Do you think they will have something special for it.

It has been mentioned before and I think on previous Disney cruises there was nothing special. Shame. We could be surprised though.

The mask can be quite fun if you like to play fighter pilot. "Blue Leader, Blue Leader, this is Red Dog one, how do you copy?" Then you just make up stuff as you go, like "Bandits at 1 o'clock!"

I don't think they will do anything special, but you never know...at least all the moms will be in a gorgeous setting!

well I went to bed between 8-9 last night. Feel better this morning..my back was killing me and I couldn't stop sneezing. John is off today so he gets to sleep in!

One more comment on the cpap..My RT told me to try to keep the tubing covered with the sheets-that it prevents condensation from collecting in the tubing. I started out resting my hand on the tubing beside me and it seems to keep it from pulling away from the machine or around my nose. Another problem that I had was putting lotion on my face too close to the time I was putting on my cpap. It would cause the nasal pillows to slide a bit. I find that my mouth actually gets less dry at night-I also wear a mouth splint for TMJ and I don't know but I think that having the air blowing into my nose keeps me from sleeping with my mouth open. I always use the humidifier.
FYI, I have used the cpap since Oct., and never had a time when I thought a-hah I feel so rested, and felt like I had so much more energy. But I did notice that I wasn't sleeping as much, and didn't feel the need for naps. I haven't worn the machine for the past week because I have had a stuffy nose, and sore throat- couldn't breathe against the machine. I have been waking up exhausted again and can't hardly stay awake. I am looking forward to being able to get back to the cpap....Vicki
I have always dreamed-no real change pre/post for me.

Thanks Vicki.....re: the nasal prongs (or whatever they're called) and more than likely the air that's coming through them are irritating the inside of my nose not the outside. I don't think there's any way to not deal w/ that. I did notice yesterday that I didn't yawn as much about 4pm, so hopefully that's a benefit from the machine.

We're also trying to dream up some way to get together while on Castaway Cay and do some kind of rememberance/tribute to our moms who have passed.

I haven't come up with anything other than a 'toast' at Heads Up bar. Thought about tossing flowers/petals into the ocean at Serenity Bay...don't know if they'd let us do that.....don't know if they'd let us take flowers off the ship. Anybody have any ideas?
