Those plug ins never work right for me. Always slide around. Can't get a good feel on them.

duplicate...but didn't they say: they were oceanic 6 or 8, and we all know that there were more than that who survived the crash. typed in white...

the 3-4 year olds are on one side and the 5 and up are on the other side. I believe they 5 year olds can go to either side. Depending on what they like, parents decide. The 10 and up can go to 5th floor or 2nd floor again, whatever they prefer.

I believe...

That helps. My nephew is four and my daughter is five and they are worried that he won't want to go without her because he is shy. If she goes to his side on the first day, can she switch if she wants?

Kaylee's advice is good. HP has good laptops too, and reasonable.

John-DH and I appreciate the plug for HP!!! :thumbsup2 Obviously Mark has had HP laptops for all the years he's worked at HP. He's only had a few (you'd think they'd replace them regularly, not the case). His is on 24/7 and been man-handled many times over, especially on airplanes and has never had problems. Dell used to be a very strong HP competitor but has lost some footing in the past year. People complain most about their customer service, or lack thereof. As with anything...there are lemons to be had. We know that all too well....Mark's new company car has been at the dealer on and off for 30 days since he got it in December. We're on our 3rd rental car. And then he speaks to other HP folks that haven't had one problem with theirs...go figure!

I'm pretty sure they can both be in the other room. Smaller, more preschool toys etc. I would call and ask to be safe. I know my dd was 8 last summer and they let her go to deck 2 where it was supposed to be 10 and up, so I don't think they are tight on the rules.

It's sad that michael clayton didn't get as good of advertising. The ad on PPV makes me wish I HAD seen it in the theater. I never got around to juno, so I need to see that also. I heard it was great.

When we went my youngest was 4 and my oldest was 7. My youngest was pretty shy and she was able to hang around with her sister as much as she wanted. Pretty soon, the younger was out playing and having fun so her sister was able to go off and do her things. My understanding is that they are pretty flexible in most circumstances.

Well, not too bad, only 10 minutes to book excursions. We were not able to book anything at Palo. But everything else is done.

Joseph

That's good you got the excursions! Others have reported this, and it was my case too - PJ (at Palo's) reassured us when we went to the Rockin Bar (and everything was booked up) that they would call us. And they did. Don't worry...they really do everything so everyone that wants to experience Palo's can. :goodvibes
Lisa

Hopefully that is the case...

The only thing I didn't get was Palo...

I guess there will be a very long line for Palo when we get on board!!!

Has anyone ever seen any of these movies that are winning...La vie en rose, No country for old men? I don't even know what these are about...and what about best song...I never heard of Once, the movie..any one else?

Yes, I saw Once, it was very good, and the music was wonderful. I LOVED Juno and was very glad to see it got best screenplay. I think I remember posting here the day I saw it that it was very well written.

I hope katypop got her excursions! I was hoping she'd post here. Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

Does anyone know how the kids clubs work? It looks like the 3-7 year olds are together but they separate the kids into age groups of 3 and 4 and 5-7. So will a 3 and a 5 year old be in the same area doing different activities or in separate areas?

They move the kids around a lot in the 3-4 and 5-7 groups. Sometimes they are all in the club and have free choice or more structured activities, I don't think I've ever seen them broken in age groups when they are all in the club. Many times the 5-7 kids will go to other parts of the ship, like into the Lab, up on sports deck, etc. I don't think the 3-4s move around much. I think they will let a 5yo choose to move down to the 3-4s but not the 3-4 move up. Things might be looser if there are a lot fewer kids than normal.
