How long before should we hire a tux?

Other things left to do.
One day car rental from WDW to the port.
Transfers from the San Pedro port to DL.
Transfers from DL to LAX.
?Stateroom gift or Shirley basket to order.
Online checkin.

Lots of shopping.
Lose loads of weight.

:rotfl2:

About the tuxes, the order form we received from DCL says two weeks before cruise.

This is from the Tux website:
Q. How much time in advance do you need for me to place an order?

A. The answer to this question varies according to the port of embarkation. Most sailings require orders placed one week prior to sailing (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, San Juan, Los Angeles, Port Canaveral, New York and Vancouver).
Some cruises require rental orders be placed at least two weeks prior to sailing (South America, Europe and other exotic or repositioning cruises). Orders for year-end and holiday sailings should also be placed early. Please call our customer service department at 1-800-551-5091 to inquire about your specific cruise.

Other things left to do. (let me check my list :lmao: )

Make Door magnets
Decorate Fish Extender
Eye Doctor appt.
Have MD fill out Med Form for DH
Get duplicates of all prescriptions from MD
Get DH measured for Tux
Stateroom gift or Shirley basket
Ship box to Poly.

Lots of shopping.
Lose loads of weight.

And for those withougt wheels (or who don't want to spring for a taxi), there is a Mimi's Cafe just across the street from the park entrance on Harbor, to the north.

...ok...time to throw in a load of clothes and get back to my paperwork projects!

.

DD went to a Mimi's here in MD. She said it was very good! They told her they were owned by Bob Evans.

Oh! Now I have loads more to add to my list. It has trebled in length!:crazy2:

Thanks about the tux, though getting John measured might take till 2 weeks before the cruise.:sad2:

On line check in is done! One step closer to being on the ship!:cool1: :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :dancer: party:

Marilyn, you can do it without getting to your passport right now. When I went in to do I found it all filled out from before. Real easy.:thumbsup2

Carol

Our is all done as well. It was the only thing I was able to accomplish on the fateful fish day. Our passport info was filled in as well. DU Travel agent must have given it to DCL. :thumbsup2

Yikes, I forget to put the fish extender on my list.....

time for lunch and then snack shopping (OK maybe some real food too).

Hey guys, just popping in while I work from home today (phew).

We got our P&P Party tickets in the mail this week. WOOHOO!!! Also, my friend who I travelled to WDW with in October is going to be in WDW at the same time and is coming to the party with us. I can't wait!!

Has anyone had any luck getting a spot for Palo brunch/high tea since the first night we were booking?? I keep looking ot see if anything opens up, but it never does.

I did book the Rasul though and a pedicure for myself, though I may cancel those if I don't have the funds for them. That's what I REALLY want though, so I'm going to try to make it happen :)

Steve, I don't think I have taken the time to tell you how much I really, really admire you. I am so glad you and the guys decided to hook up with this group. :grouphug:

Thank you Angie,

The reality of the situation is that raising my two is no more difficult than raising "normal" kids, just different sets of problems. There are some silverlinings to having my boys too...instead of a college fund, I get to take them on these cruises, :cool1: I don't have to worry about them doing recreational drugs:scared: , and neither has a girlfriend yet!:rotfl2:

Look forward to seeing everyone soon!

And that positive outlook is what I admire! :thumbsup2

We're leaving the track now. Going to toyrus or target to get something to cheer up the bday boy. Not the best way to spend his bday. We just decided to find an arcade to play for a while. We are planning to go to the indoor track in Sac at 1 with 2 boys from the gokart club. Better than nothing but I'm bummed we are not able to have his friends from home with him today too

Well I think he is in shock! Took him a few minutes even with Brent telling him several times that he was going on the cruise too. Then the "I can't get off in June since I'm off in May and July" started(he thought we were going to Myrtle Beach in May so I had to tell him that my cruise was in June). Once all the facts were out he understood. I'm sure when Brent goes home later I will get more questions. What I think is funny is that Brent needed to tell him so he could discuss some things with him . The things were-that the first thing they are going to do is go down the hall to Beat Street and see the traffic light and then they are going to play shuffleboard. The things a kid thinks are important!

Now to get him on this board!

We're off to the rainy track :crazy2:

Oh well, it could be worse, it could be an Earthquake!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Marr, we are going to Sac RPM, THANK YOU :cheer2: they are fitting the kids in at 1pm, since they have experience they will waive the class.

Call me when you wake up I'm not going to wake you with this wonderful news.

:drive: All the smiles are reconfigured on my screen, I guess this is my bday present huh????

LOVE YA MEAN IT....I'll explain that one later, but some of you may know about that already????

Nan :joker:

I am a devout Love Ya Mean It fan, that is required reading for anyone I help with a Disney trip, lol.

Ok so they update on my moms friends is very sad. SHe passed away Sat night. But everyone is ok they woke her up one last time and said their goodbyes. Before she died she left written instructions that she didn't want a funeral were everyone was sad. She wants to be cremated and her DD and DSIL to go on a cruise and pour her into the sea. So they are going to have a service at the church and honor her wishes. At least she will be where she wanted to be. And she is not in anymore pain.:sad1:

Jill - :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Just remember she's in a better place and was able to have her loved ones around her at the last moments.

I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's loss. They are in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathies.

But what TYPE are they? Sandisk is the brand. I am assuming they are CF - compact flash, which most Canon cameras take, except for the small ones that take sd cards.

My S3iS take the SD too. I think many newer Canon's are moving to the SD. My older a710 takes CF and it is way smaller then my S3, :confused3 .

Buying a 4gb card for 23.00 this week. It is normal speed, so will be for outdoor shots etc.
