Do you collect Disney merch? What's in your house right now? Regrets?

HOWEVER....every time a box arrives, my husband says, "let me guess...another purse...". I LOVE my Loungefly...

And here is one corner of my crafting room!

The Loungeflys (Loungeflies?) are so dang cute. I always think maybe I'll buy one when I see them at the stores but never have because I don't think I'd ever use them anywhere but ... at Disneyland. Thus far, I've resisted.

Your crafting room is awesome. Love your handmade ears and seeing your handmade outfits over on the Trip Reports pages!

I have a Disney room 😂 It started out as my "Lego Room" and has become the Disney room now. I guess I don't know if I would call it a collection but I like buying ears for every outfit and just got into pins and trading. I buy a Pandora charm every trip too!

Love the little buildings -- reminds me of my Christmas Village. Do you do anything with them for the holidays?

I have a bunch of original paintings but my favorite is a large limited edition sculpture of Mickey and Minnie walking while holding hands and also holding park tickets. It’s really nice.

Wow, if you ever decide to post pictures of those here, I'd love to see them! I know that can be a hassle, though.

I finally thought of a regret...not of something I bought, but something I didn't. Years ago, Samsonite made a set of Tinkerbell luggage and I just couldn't afford it at the time (kid in school, tough economic times) but I wanted it so bad. And I have never found it again...course, now I wouldn't care cuz I am over my Tink phase and I have a lovely set of Micky suitcases I don't take anywhere but Disney. But, still, I think about that suitcase every once in a while...

I have never regretted anything that I purchased, but have regretted not purchasing a few things. I mostly buy clothing (especially dressier pieces that I can wear to work), jewelry, handbags (primarily Dooneys, but a few Coach and Loungefly crossbodies), throw pillows, art, and useful things for around the house. Other than the art hanging on the wall and the pillows on my sofa I really don’t have room to display a lot of collectibles. I do have a weakness for Haunted Mansion themed items. Probably half of my Dooneys are HM themed.

I wish I would have purchased the Animal
kingdom Lodge furniture when they were refurbishing the rooms - love the look !!!

Yes we are ALL winners !! Proudly displaying what we love & enjoy nothing wrong here !! 😊 if it makes you happy that’s what matters! Enjoy !

One of my absoute favorite items is a lamp with a Tiffany-style shade and a column that is a statue of Kermit the Frog.
It's very cool, because from a distance it looks like an authentic Tiffany-style lamp. But when you get closer, you can see Kermit in the stained glass as well as the Kermit column. I got it at the Muppets store near Mama Melrose's--now both going or gone, I guess. It was a comparatively expensive purchase, but I have enjoyed it for many years.

It's wonderful when you have something unique like that and you know you are never going to find it again...I feel that way about my Christmas things....

And remember when Japan was the leader in making little ceramic figurines and you could buy them at the dime store super cheap? I used to collect the horse ones when I was young. I have a ceramic CheshireCat I bought at DL, oh, probably mid-70s...sits on my desk...it's one of my treasures, though it prolly only cost a couple of dollars back then. Somehow I managed to hang on to it all these years...

I just remembered that I have a disney watch that I bought on our first ever trip in l977!
It is a Mickey Mouse watch and looks like a "fake" Rolex, lol. I have worn that watch through my 15 plus years of nursing and never had a problem with it. The little kids especially loved my watch:) It still runs as good as ever after all these years. I dont' remember the exact cost of it in l977, but I know we didn't have a lot of money to spend on things so it probably cost around $20.00, but I'm guessing. I certainly got a wonderful bargain on that watch over the years.

I have a ceramic Cheshire cat, too! It's Royal Doulton and I bought it at Disneyland in about 1976. I later learned it's part of an Alice in Wonderland series. I also have the Alice, but I found her in a Hallmark shop in Palo Alto in the 1980s :)

Also in the 1970s there was a cool shop in NOS that had all kinds of different things. I bought a large gold parrot back in the day, LOL. He was a fixture in my living room for years.

On a side note, speaking of horses, I used to have a whole collection of them when I was a kid/teenager. Some were very special to me--gifts from my grandma, delicate bone china set, etc that gave them special meaning. My mom took them to Good Will when I was at college and I never forgave her!
Edited to add pic of Alice and the Cheshire Cat

That Alice set is very cool...

And shame on your mom for cleaning out your collection! My grammy saved mine as they were at her house (or else my mom would have done what your mom did) and I got the privilege of at least selling the myself to an antiques dealer 20 years ago who paid me a pretty penny for them...😊

I forgot, we bought two DVC "limited" watches. I might have worn it once.
