OK, I had to share this! Myhusband and daughter's pirate outfits arrived and I made them try them on!

Those are awesome I love it! Your daughter looks adorable and really seems to like her outfit. And tell your husband he can smile because he WILL fit in. There will be other guys dressed up too... I'll be one of them!

My DH does flamework (working with glass rods and a torch). I asked him to make me a little fish to wear this Sunday night, hoping that it will bring us luck trying to make ressie for Palo's tea . This is his first attempt, will fine tune it later.

I have named him Little Blue.

That is so close to the actual thing on his first attempt I almost had flashbacks!!!!

I am going to clean and purge some more....next weekend we are heading over to the world for ESPN weekend. We may be crashing at my mom's unless I can find a cheap hotel.

Working tomorrow, then going to a friend's surprise birthday party in the evening. Sunday my DD and her DH are coming for dinner, we'll watch Academy Awards then I'll (hopefully) be booking my excursions at midnight

Happy friday night to all!
Another rainy day here. We had a goodbye party for one of my dd's friends who is moving to another school. The kids were cute, but I told the girls mom, I had to leave as I was going to cry. She is a sweet girl and one of my dd's good friends. My dd went to her dads this weekend, so I told him she might be sad or moody.
My friend..(the one who had the health scare), her daughter who's in boarding school came up to visit today. She's so cute, 15 and I'm totally cool to her...hahahaha. She im's me all the time from school. She had told me she had detention the other day, I asked why and she said she slept through 1st period. oops. Then she added, but my mom doesn't know. So funny! Kids..what r u gonna do!

Usually on Fridays I stay up until around 2am. Not tonight though. I'm headed to bed. I actually was supposed to go join a couple women for a drink tonight at 8pm, but I cancelled because I'm way too tired. Got to watch my shows from last night and am not on my way to sleep. Goodnight all!

Happy Friday everyone. I've just been reading and not posting much because of the same old excuse of not having any time! I hope everyone is doing well and not stressing out about Sunday as much as me! Anyway, someone asked me a good question today and maybe you all know. Can you wear shorts (docker type) on tropical and Mexican night? I heard anything goes on pirate night so I was just wondering.

Tomorrow, I get to get gussied up and go to a fancy school auction with a wine tasting...yummy! I am going to preview one of the dresses I plan to wear on the ship. It's supposed to be pouring, which will not work with heels....hope it clears up!

Yes it is. I like to "watch tv while I scrap". It has to be something I don't really have to watch though so I normally watch the Disney Channel.

I have to have the TV on too but I usually watch horror movies while scrapping

Funny! Tyler already tells me things he doesn't want his dad to know. Tricky situation....never sure whether I should insist he tells his dad and explain that we both need to know what's going on with him, or whether I should think it's a good thing that he feels comfortable telling me things and not risk losing that trust. I suppose some things can be Tyler's and my secret. He needs to know he can tell me anything....needs to have one parent he can turn to always. And I'm sure at some point his dad will become the one he tells things too only because we all know there are things a teenaged boy won't want to discuss with mom!

I only scrap with a big group on scrapbook days in october and april. Somehow I can't focus in my house. Who knows...but I love to scrap.

Taylor is the same with me and her dad. I think it's the impatient dad thing our kids fathers have. Taylors dad can get frustrated easily and tell her that she needs to get over it w/o working on the prob. Oh well, I'm just glad they have someone to talk too...
