There is still a cat 4 available. If they would just upgrade me they would get rid of it!

Does anyone else DH decide he is ready for bed and turn of the tv, lays the remote across the room and leaves. Leaving me sittin here staring at a blank tv?:confused3 :rotfl:

Rich doesn't do that, but he does get up, leave the room and go to bed. No word that he is going at all. About 15 minutes or so I realise he is gone or he hasn't gone to the bathroom and isn't coming back. :confused3

What would be the point of poker without money?:rotfl:

(This is sad we are typing to each other when you are upstairs.):rolleyes1

How long have you two been married? ;) I can think of other things. (clothes comes to mind)

Sounds PERFECT :thumbsup2
Long skirt and a couple pretty blouses with some flashy costume jewelry.

The less they wrinkle the better they pack. My long black skirt went to England rolled up inside the crown of my hat so it did not lose its shape for my niece's wedding in Hagley. It's a great skirt!

And sandles! Yup, sandles. Black ones to go with the black skirt. TEVAS with thin straps. Flat to keep my plantar fasciitis from acting up.

Two formal nights and a semi formal--I may dress a lot alike those days. You can notice my JEWELRY changes though.

Jan :earsgirl:

Hmmmm.....speaking of jewelry, I wonder if I should bring my display jewelry on the cruise, people could borrow if needed (with some sort of sign out sheet), and I could do a jewelry show on a sea day. Could be fun trying on jewelry at sea! :thumbsup2

Bling and more Bling. Always a goog thing!!!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

that fish is at least a bit better than the bug, but really Marilyn can't you find better art????:lmao:

How about this?

Well, Sophia does not have school tomorrow because of teacher in-service. So she had a grand total of one day of school this week. Turns out it was the only important day, the day of the Valentine's party.

Probably a good thing that I took the week off. Sophia got a lot of daddy time this week!

Daddy time is always a good thing!!! :thumbsup2

About my friend, I am sitting and thinking what I am doing. I think I go and buy a card 'Thinking of You' and send it to my friend who lost the baby yesterday.:sad1: As her frist baby, why her? she is lovely and happy woman. Life is so cruel!

Scottishwee35

That is a good idea Deborah. It is hard, but a little card shows you care.

Why not!!!:lmao:

Oh yes. That is clever!!! Can you just get it to move now!!

Today I went to shopping at my work as I got 30 percent voucher special offer for 4 days.

I bought swimming top and bottom match, top overall and new flip flop. Then I spot new blouse/top as it is beautiful very unusal but (very expensive) and I try it on, it similar like Olivia top for Mexican but I got cream with black laces. Yes, I bought it :rolleyes1

I can wear it with black trouser or skirt. Oh dear, I love clothes.:rolleyes1

Okay I better get on clean the kitchen

Scottishwee35

I think I saw that top so I had better not buy it!!

Don't we all!!! We went to Coldwater today and tried things on.. and then I got the loving speech from mother dear... "you know....you really need to lose some weight..." At least she didn't pat my tummy when she said that...:upsidedow

I saw my mom over Christmas. She commented on my recent weight loss by saying " You can really tell you've lost weight, you can see it in your face. When your face was fuller you had less wrinkles" :faint:

I can't believe I forgot to mention this....
Wal-Mart was carrying Rosa Regale today!!!!!!! They had these cute smaller size bottles for 9.49. .

Oh, I'll be looking for that this weekend. :thumbsup2

So glad it's Friday! So wish I didn't have to work Monday. All the ad agencies are closed, my sales team in LA is closed and we aren't! My team-mate and I are planning a verrrrrryyyyy looooonnnng lunch together and I'll probably get in some DIS time too! Maybe I'll bring in my trip folder and organize it, reprint some of the stuff I've written all over and print a nice cover page!

Just, once again, would like to say how much I enjoy seeing pictures of family, pets and projects. I have to pick a new photo hosting site since imagestation is history. Which one do you kids recommend?

BTW, still GTY this morning.....

:lmao: I love it!! Unfortunately it is true as we get older we do need a little extra fat for that reason, but no need to mention it!!!:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You can't win for losing!

When people tell me I look younger than I am, I always say it's because the fat smooths out all the wrinkles.

Oh man!! You have had a tough week! :grouphug: You do not need to loose weight unless you are at a weight that is unhealthy, or keeps you from doing things you want to do. My pet peeve, you are not loveable unless you fit a certain mold. NOT!! We have a DD that gets comments that she is too thin! No, she isn't, she is built that way, straight as a stick no...um, no need for a bra I guess is the DIS way to say it, but she eats alot, has no eating disorder. We are built the way we are and we are all beautiful!! Sorry, off my soapbox now.
Wow! Can you adopt me? Then I'd ditch my mom who always used to tell me as a child how fat I was, when I was very thin as a child, well, actually I was still a nice weight up until I got pregnant. I'll never forget the one time in 7th grade when I asked to go somewhere she was going and she told me no because she would be embarrassed to be seen with somebody so overweight. It's a wonder I didn't grow up with some eating disorder or horrible self-esteem. Not sure how, but I have a great self-image and don't even cringe when she says those things. I tell her, "No, I'm average size and perfectly healthy, so back off". ;) Her mouth clams shut, she gets a disgusted look on her face, but she shuts up!

We were given a cabin assignment, so I guess that "sticks". I would love a room with a window, but I can deal without it.

Thanks all
I'm seriously thinking of asking my doc to prescribe some Xanax for me because otherwise, I won't function well without a window. I'll surely have panic attacks. It's on my mind every single day since booking, but just had to take what was available. I've never cruised without a balcony because I just have to get outside, even if there is a window, or I panic. Fortunately, I'm only a couple doors away from the aft deck on 7, so I can pop out there any time we're in the room (we've spent lots of time in the room on past cruises when Tyler reaches the point where he can't take any more commotion).

Of course, this is the doc office that wouldn't even give me Tamiflu, so I doubt they'll give me Xanax. Will sure try though!

Anyone getting any vaccinations/shots for this cruise. I've been reading a thread over on the amin cruise board and wondered.

I did read some time ago not to bother, but now I'm thinking perhaps to update my Hep and Tetanus. I went to Kenya in 1997 and had vaccinations, but can't remember what!:)

Hi, I posted over there about immunizations. Here's my humble opinion, I like to be prepared.

I am a nurse and a Girl Scout.

I would definately update your tetanus if needed. It's something you should do anyway. Tetanus boosters can give you a sore arm for a few days, so why suffer on your vacation, if the need arose.

Hep A shots. Like I said in the other post, you can get it anywhere, from eating contaminated foods. Mexico has a high risk for Hep A. Click on the countries where hepatitis A is common
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/hepatitis/a/fact.htm

Hep B shots. You are less likely to have a problem here in the states, with blood products as they are tested. However, in other countries are you willing to take that risk if the need should arise? I for one am not.

.....oh, and regarding LOST last night....

WOW! :scared1:

Those of you that have recorded it....watch it SOON! :thumbsup2

BTW, looks like they'll be completing at least 5 more episodes now that the strike is over.

....time to hit the shower....

Not necessarily. Both times that we have been upgraded we had a room that we picked out when we booked the cruise. :)
OOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooh! That's reassuring, since we were assigned very early. Fingers crossed!
