Who still has the letter from Disney we received in the mail with our cruise packets afew days ago?

If you do, read header following the 10 February 2008 date. Don't be drinking anything at the time. :lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: Thanks for the warning so glad I did not have coffee in my mouth!! :lmao: :rotfl: I think I will include that in my email to Mr. McAlpin! :rotfl:

Well I'm off to bed now. 10pm and been up since 4.45am. Hope to feel better tomorrow.

Holly, I hope Tyler manages to have a good night's sleep then you will too.

Anyone else have this problem? (Didn't check the other thread so I appologize in advance if it is on there.)

DCL website said that I was not paid in full. :scared1: I paid in full with DU two weeks ago! I just don't want DCL to let my ressie go tonight. Don't know if DCL will help me but I will try to call when they open. If they won't help I will have to email DU and hold my breath until I get a reply.

Donna

Donna,

Kevin from DU e-mailed me within 10 minutes at midnight last night. They were very responsive and it was not thier fault.

I wanted to share ('cuz I know it mostly got lost in the craziness of last night) that about 5 minutes before midnight EST ... as I was sitting and waiting (im)patiently to book our ressies ... I checked my ressie and found that we had been given rooms, not just any rooms, but connecting rooms. :yay: :yay:

For our family of 5, this was the best news of the night. :wizard:

:tinker: Karen

That is great news!!! Well at least one group is out of the life boat.:thumbsup2

Good morning Cruisers!! (okay it is 2p, but I had to sneak away and get some sleeps) :headache:

I have 15 pages to catch up on, but after a quick glance it looks like many have now got at least some ressies. :woohoo:

Getting ressies (and all that was involved to get them) is great, but we can be a "family" onboard :grouphug: ... and that is the best news of all. Just wanted to share. :lovestruc

:tinker: Karen

So glad you got your rooms. :thumbsup2 It must feel good.:)

If we arrive at 9 am then the first will be 10am it is past the Heads up Bar, so better to book for 11am or later, unless you are ready to hustle over there.

I am not sure of the 1st time for this cruise, but we booked the 1st time for our Nov/Dec cruise and it was great 'cuz those little guys were HUNGRY!! Now, of course they are always willing to eat, but we got a kick at just how friendly they all were to see us. ;)

That is my feelings too! I just hope I am still on a list somewhere :) that is all that matters :) - don't care who, how, when or where - just as long as I am on it.

PJ Check this on. She is not on the list I have, but it is the very first one.

Hassle free. If it was I wouldn't feel as bad as I do right now!:rotfl:

That line from the DCL letter, Ginamarie's great funny post, all of you....these are the things that have made this day memorable in the best sense!!

They DO keep faxes they have received and do not insist that they be faxed and received on day 30.

Your experience is very different than mine..That's all.

On our Med cruise we got the room as we faxed on the 30 day mark. The other Diser's on our cruise did not and they had the request in for a year(and they had followed up several times).

I certainly hope that they are not the same people who handle the online Palo ressies!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Krisann:

I would be happy to add you to the list. Just also need your stateroom number. DCL insists we add the stateroom numbers so they can be sure we are requesting for "booked" guests. I will be sure to note that your DH goes by Ashley.

Noel

No problemo, Krisann, have added all info to the list.

DCL SAID THEY WILL DO NOTHING OVER THE PHONE TO HELP US!!!!

i just got off the phone with a DCL CM and they said there was nothing they could do, no one that could help us, the system has been doing this for a while, BLAH< BLAH< BLAH!!

well i for one and writing all the DCL execs about this! i am not a happy camper! we have spent so much $$$ for this cruise for this system to keep crashing like this! they should just have a special phone line to call in so they can do this!

another glitch i have found is that the teen activities cannot be booked because i get an error message that says at least one adult must be present (which is not true) and i cannot pick someone anyway because all names are greyed out except for my teenager! i had no probs booking them on the EB TA cruise last may!

so i now have no excursions for 2 of my ports.....don't know what we will do now!

I have had it, so I actually went out and booked all mine but 1 not through Disney. It was much easier and much cheaper.

This is another one for which I would recommend reading reviews on tripadvisor or cruise critic. Cabo is not known for its great snorkeling or diving.

Did you ask another place to snorkel? I think Aruba would be better than any of the MX ports, we're going there.

We had a great time in Cabo last May PC crossing ... but the water was VERY COLD for many on the excursion (some wouldn't even go in). Well it was nothing for my westcoast crew and we jumped in for the entire 90minutes (you turn "numb" after a couple of minutes, and then it just seems a little cold). We were lucky to have very clear water and we saw lots of great fish and coral and "sea life".

We have booked the Sail & Snorkel in Aruba. It goes to one of the "top 10" snorkel sites. We are prepared to be a little cold ;) but do not want to miss out on the experience.

Since it is a little dog I would go one of two way:

Either name him after small sized character or go to the exact opposite. My sister named the runt of the litter Brutus.

Can wait to see the pictures. I love other people's puppies.

I think a small-ish dog named Brutus would be so cute!! :goodvibes

Donna,

Kevin from DU e-mailed me within 10 minutes at midnight last night. They were very responsive and it was not thier fault.

That is very nice to know! This is the first time that I transferred a ressie from DCL so I really freaked out. I just didn't want DCL to drop my ressie. I had been very pleased DU. They always answered my emails quickly. It is good to know that they are on the ball.

Now the good news...DD was able to access my ressie and get me the one excursion that I wanted. Anyone else doing the Cabo Resort and Pool Getaway?

Donna

I just spoke to a very nice CM. I was trying to book the dolphin excursion in Cabo and it wouldn't let me book my youngest...said he wasn't old enough (he's 6 and the excursion is for 4 and above). She handled it and Drew will get booked on it.

She did tell me it's been very busy and the system did have some gliches and to keep trying. She said things will open up and to check every day for the excursions I wanted and didn't get. She said last night the system was availabe to many people in "pockets" which is what I experienced.

It is what it is. I'm not thrilled but what can you do? I'm not going to get myself worked up...life's too short. And I don't feel like yelling at anyone about it, so I'm over it. I'm still disappointed but I'm over it.
