I LOVE Dodge. I have always been a Mopar man. I am not sure how they are now, but would think that they are still good, considering the fact that Daimler owns them now. I had a Dodge Avenger that I gave to my son, after 105,000. It still ran great, was good off the line, and I loved it. His friend was helping him move, and was driving it while DS drove the moving truck. Well, it was totalled when some lady swerved and caused him to hit the 'wall' on the freeway. Nobody was hurt, thank goodness. I have had many Chrysler products, and all of them, fortunately, were top notch. My first car was an old '50 Plymouth. I wish I had it now. It was used and cost me 60.00 (Yes sixty) :rotfl: I bought it in 1961. (when I was 3 :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: ). The Avenger was my last one. I want a Viper. Oooooh oho oh oh! Almost bought one, but not a car for commuting. LOL.
The Charger is awesome. oh yeah!
I have a 2006 chrysler town and country touring and I love it(yes not a cool car but practical) I really wanted all the automatic doors and stow and go and dvd player for travel the car before that we had a '99 town and country so they've been good cars for us. Like the new ones stow and go at touch of button and the table and swivel seats...now they come out with that.:sad2: Low miles in town but we have taken road trips to San Diego, LA, Colorado and so forth...great for travel:thumbsup2 Has been good to us! DH always drives Honda good commuter car. We are into practical not flashy. I feel like now that I'm not in high school I don't need to try and be cool.

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Waiting for him to catch up.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad to hear it. A few years ago, my daughter's best friend had a birthday party. Unfortunately we had other plans for that day so we had to say she couldn't go. We then found out that my daughter was the only person invited. We changed our plans immediately. Since then, if my daughter gets an invite to a friend's party we do everything possible to make sure she goes. They mean too much to the birthday person not to.
Ohhhhh!I'm so glad she was able to go. For a small party I usually ask a couple of his closest friends mom's if they'll be in town for the weekend and if a few of his main friends could make the tentative date then that's the date that way if only his closest friends make it he'll be happy no matter what...birthdays are a big deal to little ones but I like small especially since there are 16 boys and 10 girls in his class last year there were even higher boy ratio and they are more active than girls especially at a place like pumpitup(where sophia had her party).

Just a little tidbit I discovered on my walkabout around town the other day.

I discovered a link between my little Northern BC town and Ohio.

This is a steam shovel that was built circa 1882 by the Vulcan Ironworks company in Toldeo, Ohio. It was used to help build a trench from a lake to a mine in the surrounding area by the Cariboo (what my region is called) Hydraulic Mining Company. It is now sitting as a permanent display along our "Riverwalk".

Just thought it was interesting to show this connection between locales. I don't know if anyone in here is from Toledo Ohio but I do know there are some people from Ohio on here.

This is the tour in ACA, yes it is the 12:45 tour.

We should all band up in the meeting spot and link arms, that way they have to put us on the same bus, lol.

Pj

We are doing this one also, maybe we can get the next table beside them if their table is full.
I had a group that we meet on our Dec. cruise that I meet at sail away on deck 10. We were yelling from the ship to the people on the shore as we were leaving. She said she was yelling and then she thought I was her echo. We meet a little later on deck 10 after a few more yoohoos. I told her we would probably be sitting next to each other. Sure enough we were. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: We had a blast.

Sounds like a party!:dance3:

We are in the middle of Ohio and Toledo is northwest of us about 3 1/2 hours. Doug goes up there a lot on business. It is on the Michigan border. In fact, Toledo is probably closer to Holly than it is to us. :rotfl: :rotfl2: I keep finding out that Ohio is known for a lot of things. Good and bad. :cool1: :goodvibes

Make sure to let us know how the movie is.

We are going to see Jumper today but thinking of seeing Definitely, Maybe tomorrow (or Monday).

Lots of catchin up to do, but wanted to answer this.

"Definately, Maybe" was VERY good...even better than I expected! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 It's one of the best chic-flicks I've seen in a long time.

Let me know how "Jumper" is...the concept looks interesting.

Calmom, IF I had kids, I would be cool with gifts showing up for them only.

...back to catch up.....

I have a Verizon Blackberry Pearl. I don't know what "World" means. Since it is much later, let me know what you found out.

I survived Sophia's party.

11 showed up, and she had a good time.

It is the name of the Blackberry. You have the Pearl I have the World.

Did not have time check this out today....Will let you know what I find out!

Calmom-Ditto...I am ok with just the kids getting something...I enjoy them being happy and seeing them smile so that's our treat:goodvibes

yeah Dennis, I would love a Viper as well....actually I would love a convertible Mustang in good shape...! We are not trading in either the Explorer or Mustang. I am hoping to have my uncle restore her and then fix up the Explorer to sell and get John an car come August. I checked my insurance on the Nitro...if I drop the Explorer it goes up $29 per every 6 months. Not bad~

Holly, DH has severe claustrophobia. Long story, but I will tell you that he slept on the deck during the Alaska cruise. You should really look into something to help if you think this is going to be a problem. (this is one of the reasons we are still looking for an upgrade)

Kim is a cat 4 hard for him? I thought it would be for me, but it was ok. Small and a bit creepy but ok. I hope that doesn't sound bad, I know it's alot bigger than the 12-6s but I couldn't do a small room like that. With out having open air I'd freak out. Hence cat 4 for us. I wish the room was reversed, with the master bed at the verdana and the couch and pull down bunk near the door. I also worry about the kids being too close to the verdana. Darned if you do darned if you don't.

We went to disney store for a quickie outing and I got some cute extra little stuff for some of the girlies on the cruise. And something for Deb and Woody. Now what could they be????? Not telling :lmao:

John,

I am glad Sophia had a great time! That is the most important part.

Gydell Happy Birthday

Dennis and Angie... I am waiting for more stories!

My daughter swims a lot at the club we belong to and also swims on a swim team so I buy her a lot of suits. She and I like the ones from the Limited too as far as cuteness goes. They got their new suits in a month or so ago! Thing is I buy them now since I know if I wait until it is really warm they will be sold out of a lot of sizes and styles. Besides when it is Summer it will be time to buy the winter coats! :rotfl2:

picked up a suit at Old Navy for Molly. This is going to be a hard year for suits for her. The right size is a bit to mature in the bust line.... She wants tankinis to hide her tummy, so I think I may be going online soon, as we can't find anything at our usual haunts.
