So who here watched Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle? Did you like one or the other or both? I liked both but after getting used to the fast pace of CM, which I LOVE, I thought LJ was just a little sluggish. I'll watch it again to see if I want to continue, maybe it will pick up some. But I like CM better.....hands down!

I agree and I've only seen a portion of an episode of CM, but thought it was much wittier than LJ. Though it has always been my contention not to judge a show buy it's first epsiode...so much has to be set-up for character introduction and the like. I will confess, I'm having a hard time getting past Brook's hair color...think it makes her look haggy!

At the time of our first cruise we didn't have time to do it earlier. We dine late so later, well let's just say I don't want to gain THAT much weight!!!! LOL

This time I think we are going to look at getting a brunch or an afternoon meal. We got 15 days, I'm sure in that time we can find at least 1 point in time to go sans les enfants. Or at least I think my wife is thinking so.....

We did not do Palo until we went on a four day by ourselves, for the same reasons as you. We are very much into the routine of dinner, and on to the theater for the show, and then whatever. On our last cruise though, Sophia had plenty of friends, and we did not feel so bad about letting her enjoy a great time with her buddies. Since Savannah is on this cruise with her, and they are two peas in a pod, we should be fine - at least until Kim's or John's pager goes off!

WHAT>????? OLDER CROWD? HELLOOOOOOO - there are lots of people who enjoy a night out who have kids and are young, just sayin'.

I guess what I was trying to convey is that there will probably be more couples with no kids than families with kids on board.
With the school age kids being restricted on the number of days they can miss school, there will probably be less of that family age group on board.
Having read past May repo trip reports there seemed to be less families with kids. I didn't mean to imply that people who have kids don't enjoy a night out. Sorry

Who here watched Survivor the Fans vs the Favorites. I have so much to say but I'm not sure if it's safe. Let me just say I think I like the fans better, I was amazed at the outcome of the challenge and I was shocked at tribal counsel at who went home.

I don't want to say any details because someone may not have watched it yet and I don't want to spoil it.

But it's going to be a great season and I'm excited to watch and see what developes.

I am hoping fat is turning to muscle, etc. and that the "whoosh fairy" will come one of these weeks and show an even bigger loss soon.

108 total "children" onboard

** 1000 is typical **

** 1200 on the August PC repo **

My kids were 3 of only 11 registered for Oceaneers Lab.

Most "children" were 0-6yrs.

V.....I know you watch Dance Wars....me too. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I like team Carrie Ann because I love Elizabeth. On Bruno's team I like Zack and Kelsey.....but Elizabeth is still my overall favorite! Her team is doing great!

Count us in. This is our first choice. We also did it back in 05.

Do you know what days are formal and semi Formal nights? Last repo I believe we had 4 nights all together.

5/12 Formal, 5/17 Semi Formal, 5/23 Formal

(we also usually do not purchase soft drinks when we eat out unless it is part of a combo either)

I stopped ordering cola in restaurants, especial as I eat out frequently. I know I'm saving at least $50 a month (cola + tax and tip on cola)!

We're not doing Palo for dinner so that opens one more. I wish we could trade - you know our dinner for someone else's brunch...

Well, actually you can IF you can find someone who doesn't want to do brunch. Like I said DCL doesn't care WHO shows up for the meal.

Does anyone watch celebrity apprentice? It's soooooo good this season because they're using famous people. Most of them are like, 'yes Mr. Trump' but not this group. They're like, we don't care who you are because we're rich and famous too. So they all have attitude and take risks and speak up......no yes men on this show. It's really so much better than the regular ones.
