Max occupancy?

When I checked on the Loews site, I thought it just said max 5 people for most of the regular rooms. But when I was looking at prices at OrangeVacations under the "Display Rates" page, it shows the following max occupancy:
For PBH:
Maximum 4 Persons per room in existing beds
Plus 2 Children under 17 years old (in existing beds)

For HRH:
Maximum 4 Persons per room in existing beds
Plus 3 Children under 9 years old (in existing beds)

For RPR:
Maximum 4 Persons per room in existing beds
Plus 2 Children under 9 years old (in existing beds)

Does anyone know if this is accurate as far as how they count children?

I'm thinking about booking a night on-site and it will be me, wife, and 4 kids(1, 4, 7, 10).

The Orange vacations occupancy information sounds very confusing to me!

For RPR, HRH and PBH all regular rooms with 2 queen beds ( gardenview, poolview, bayview, deluxe) have a 5 person occupancy.

All above rooms with 1 King bed have a 3 person occupancy.

Both the queen bed and the king bed rooms can also add a rollaway bed. The maximum occupancy remains the same.

I thought I read here somewhere that children under 2 (?) or maybe 1 could stay in the same room in a crib. I'm unsure about that but someone here must know or remember the thread. If that isnt allowed you would have to book 2 rooms for your family of 6. Good Luck! I hope you are able to find the info..you could call and ask also.

I too was confused as we purchased a room at HRH for our friend's 40th birthday present during our forthcoming stay to Orlando in May. I phoned direct from UK to HRH and was sure I told them that I wanted a room for 2 adults and 3 children.

However when I looked in a tour operator's brochure (to check out the photos!) I noticed it said max room occupancy 4. I am now pleased to see it is 5. I wonder why the tour operators change the occupancy?

I have just noticed the Virgin Holidays brochure says "max 4 persons or family of 5 with rollaway (extra charge)"
