I grew up in the 70's around pot. My dad smoked it all the time. It lead to abuse of alcohol and other drugs.
My home life was not all peached and cream. I always had to be careful when I had friends over to make sure dad's stash wasn't out or if he was in a BAD MOOD because the stash ran out.
I tried pot when I was very young and remember asking my parent's after why I felt like crying for no reason at all. I can think of much better highs a person can get without drugs (AKA - disney vacation!!!!)
Oh and by the way - Dad died of lung cancer Sept 5, 2001 at the age of 48. He missed out on seeing my youngest brother graduate from high school and a grandson so far. He died of cancer of the esophagus. You can't convince me it wasn't from his life choices.
