Hi There,
My family which consists of myself, my husband, and our son who will be 7 at time of sailing, are taking our first Disney cruise in February on the Disney Magic for a Marvel Day at Sea Cruise. My son has been talking about how excited he is to meet his favorite characters and can't wait to go. Like everyone, my husband and I are a little nervous at this point about taking a cruise in Feb. We aren't going to make any big decisions on it until Aug/Sept time frame. If we do decide to push our cruise back to a later date, do non-Marvel cruises still have some Marvel characters present? We are headed to WDW for my 40th later in 2021 and I am thinking of worse case, rebooking the cruise to a 4 night out of Port Canaveral on the tail end of our trip. What have people's experiences been?
I do know that any cruise we will be awesome, it is just that I asked my son the other night what is the one thing he wants to do first when the coronavirus is gone and he responded with "go on the Marvel cruise." I was expecting him to say something like go to the playground or see my friends, but he's shooting big. In the end he will be fine because really any opportunity a kid has to go on any vacation, let alone a Disney cruise is a privilege and amazing, but as his Mom, I of course just want his little dream to come true.
Thanks,
Kristin
