She didn't lie on oath at the trial because she (wisely) didn't take the stand, but she lied to the FBI while under oath during a deposition, and that's how they got her. They were on a witch (b) hunt, and who is a bigger witch (b) than Martha Stewart?

Plus a hefty fine and some stiff sanctions (with respect to future business dealings). How many others with the same mix of circumstances other than her celebrity have got jail time? (Don't know....just curious).
