Disneypoly:
I stayed at Royal Palms last September, and found it to be quite excellent. It's a well designed timeshare with nice landscaping and quiet pools, and a helpful staff. Our unit was a big two bedroom, full kitchen, two TVs, a living area and patio, and our room was right above the tee on one of the holes of a surrounding golf course, so we got to hear a lot of expletives when the golfers would shank a shot.
Everything was clean and tidy, and the units were fully equipped with everything you need if you want to cook/entertain (except the food and drink, of course). The best part for me was that the master bedroom is open to part of the bath area, which includes a full size jacuzzi tub. My wife and I were able to put our little one to sleep, then slide into the jacuzzi with a bottle of champagne, and, well, none of your business.
The other big benefit of Royal Palms is that it is directly adjacent to the World Marriott Center, and as a guest a Royal Palms you have privileges to the WMC's huge pool area and other amenities.
IMO, the Royal Palms is an excellent value when compared to standard timeshares.
We liked it so much we actually took the tour with the Marriott people and ended up buying a week at Grande Vista, another close by Marriott timeshare.
