Marriott Royal Palms

Has anyone stayed at the Marriott Royal Palms?

I have not stayed there. it got some bad reviews - but it seems Marriott did a rehab without telling anyone....

I was at the Imperial Palms in February which is right next door (3 bedroom units). They share the same pools and main area. Royal palms looked nice but this resort is quieter with less things to do. The main pool is nice. A couple of the RP buildings are further away from the pools and main building but they have a small play ground. The road was close to a one building. The grounds are beautiful as they are with any marriott. You get to use all of the Marriott world facilities but you need to take a shuttle that runs regularly.
