I heard the same thing (2 TS/March 011)
Marrakesh vs. Chefs
that is sort of like apples and oranges
Both restaurants have fairly standard dishes representing the cuisine of their country...so that depends on you.
Now on to the non-food differences:
IMO Chefs can be brutally crowded,it can be noisy and you are so close to the next table onlookers could assume you are dining together and chefs like no other likes to turn their tables FAST!
Marrakesh has the floor show, the hand washing, tea pouring b'stilla (made with chicken not pigeon) and the chance to eat with your hands
Mind this is all IMO;-)
I prefer Marrakesh, but I will always prefer Moroccan over Classic French
Chefs has some very tasty foods...I especially like the cheeses and escargot
and if you don't need to experience Moroccan cuisine in a sit-down manner Cafe Tangierine is one of our absolute fav. CS meals<---if you aren't huge eaters the plates there are large enough to share
BTW, Cafe Tangierine has an awesome Tangerine slushie....mmmm;-)
