I don't think so. I called both the New York and Chicago stores and they are sold out also. Ebay may be your best bet.

That's what I was afraid of. Do you know how much they regularly were? I'm just curious...

DD's not into dancing so I don't know if I should be concerned about getting this item. I just thought it would be nice since she is a dancer and it would be like a set.

Honestly, if your DD is not a dance, I would not worry about getting the trunk for Christmas. It could be something to add later on, say for a birthday.

Maybe get some other accessories....Coconut the dog, other outfits, matching DD clothes. The pajamas look really cute.

DD's birthday is the following month, January 25th. I was looking to get one and put it back.

I did get the duffel bag & cat, which goes with Marisol, the white/red star pajamas (liked the blue coconut but don't have it in her size), and the sparkly top and doll outfit.

I will get coconut when I get the American Girl Today doll next year.

I also have the tub, hair styling center, and hair style kit, which I bought last December with really good coupon codes. They've been hidden all this time and I can't wait to give them to her either for Christmas or Birthday.

Just didn't know if I should have the trunk to go with Marisol or not...

Hello,

Marisol and all of her accessories/clothes are being retired. She is a limited edition doll (one year; was introduced last December). Marisol & her items will not be available after 12/20. If you want something get it NOW. Many items are already sold out. You may have to call and ask to speak to customer service personally. Ebay prices right now are through the roof, so unless it is an item your dd will be crying if she does not get, I would not go that route. I am sure the hysteria will die down a bit after the holidays, but expect to pay more than the original price on Ebay.

The trunk was $49.

DD has the trunk. My dd is a dancer and jazz is her favorite so I got it when I got the doll in January. My dd plays with the trunk a lot. She stores all of Marisol's clothes in there and its great when dd wants to take Marisol someplace, all her stuff is packed in the trunk.

Marisol is a HUGE reward for my 5 YO who is finally managing to stay dry at night. She's been working at this for weeks (that's a lot of wet sheets!)

I bought the doll and the stage about 2 months ago (a LOT of sheets) but never bought the spotlight outfit,and I know she really wants it for the holidays. Do you think the NY store has any? I hate to give in to the price gouging of ebay...
