I love them all, but my most fave are seahorses. I saw the traveling seahorse exhibit in Baltimore National Aquarium.


It was also amazing seeing the manatees in Florida. I had never seen one before, absolutely incredible.

I voted dolphin although sting rays came a closs second. It had to be dolphins as I loved swimming with them at Discovery Cove last year (swimming with the sting rays was cool too.)

Manta Ray All the Way! I'm hoping to sin just enough to return as one! OH Drat! I forgot! One can never devolve in Karma. OH well! they are beautiful, and graceful, with no natural predators. Who could ask for more than to spend your life flying through the Ocean?!

I love dolphins--I like just about any marine life. I been to National Aquarium at least 25 times since it open. My hunny and I were tossed a ball by one of the dophins after the show. NC Beast tossed it back and the dolphin waved and swam away.

I voted dolphins, I also really like killer whales, but considering they are in the dolphin family, in a way there are really two categories for them.

I voted other because I really like them all! I went to an island and snorkeled and we saw sea turtles and a spotted eagle ray, they were so beautiful. And I love seahorses and fish. I also love coral and inverts. Though I really love all animals, it's so hard for me to pick just one as my favorite. (Although I guess I would pick bats if I had to )

It's not hard to snorkel, I bet that you would love it if you did!

I've snorkeled in Hawaii and also in the Caribbean.

The National Preserve in Hawaii, Hanamau Bay was gorgeous. Lots of sea fan, coral and tons of small reef fish. We even got lucky enough to see a Green Sea turtle swim by! It was amazing!

The Caribbean off of the Yucatan Peninsula was such a great location. It seemed so pristine and untouched. A school of small Rays greeted us in the morning, and the reef was full of colorful fish, we even saw a small barracuda.

It must have been great to the person who saw the Orcas. Thats one type I haven't seen yet!

I also want to do Discovery Cove in Florida so bad! I've swam close to a school of Dolphins in the wild, not close enough to touch them of course!



I'm a water person. I think in a past life, I must have been an Ancient Mariner or something! I even dream about marine life.

I'm not very confident in the water, I tend to panic if I go deeper than waist high water!

Thanks for sharing your experiences though - they sound wonderful!

Way back sometime in the 80's I did pluck up the courage and go down in the Atlantis submarine off of Cozumel.

I was a bit panicky as it was slightly claustophobic, but once I began to see schoals of colourful fish, a turtle swimming by, all the beautiful coral - WOW - I actually forgot I was "Under The Sea" until we re-surfaced again!
