I'm glad to hear that you decided to go forward with the trip. I'm sure it will take a while to get over the mad/hurt/disappointed feeling but there's no place but Disney World to help make those feelings go away.

You are definitely right that wedding preparations are going to be kicking in full force soon. I'm still getting over Lacey's wedding.

Thank you Lisa . I have such wonderful Dis friends that I just can't be too upset about it. I know we (or I................hehehe) will buy DVC eventually, and I know that God had his reasons for it not being right now .

We have another shower coming up next Saturday. It is being given by the Maid of Honor and her brides maids. Amanda had said she wanted us to give her luggage, but now she is saying to please change that to a full size vacuum cleaner . She bought a little Dirt Devil and she said it won't pick up a piece of lint.... She is starting to realize that living on her own isn't as inexpensive as she first thought. Amanda is a HUGE planner and she had it all plotted out, well she just didn't realize that going to the grocery store is more that a one time a week proposition.

So I went online this morning and was looking at the Best Friends Pet Care site for Niko. They have some awesome accommodations for the pets. They have a VIP Villa...........What???.........for a Dog? So I am reading what all comes with it and I told Dale I think I am going to book it for me . The pet gets a personal “pet concierge” in the VIP Villa. When I was reading all that it has my whole crew was laughing their tails off.

Anyway, they still had our Niko in their system so I was able to book him and indoor/outdoor room. We have to go over and walk him anyway so he didn't need the VIP treatment because the handlers wouldn't be able to do anything with him.

He's toooooo cute Dana!!! I got all the pics uploaded, and videos!! And got a LOOOONG story to tell!! We were there 13 hours!!! I walked the whole time, so I'm not doing too good today. But....my friend had an awesome weekend, and birthday, so my job is complete!! Anyways, gonna go start telling this LONG tale!!!

Thanks Christie, he is Dale's baby. He keeps saying we need to stay at a hotel Niko can stay in . There really aren't any good ones, so I told him he could stay at the Master Inn and Tyler, Dallas and I would stay at Pop.

I can't wait to hear more about your day with Mel. A LOOOONG story sounds interesting .

Awwwwwww, you are too sweet . I was just thinking that now it is time to start another project, but not sure which room to tackle. Painting the bathroom was a monster, it took me longer to paint it than it did to paint Dallas' room. I didn't take into account all the little nooks, crannies, and stuff to paint around in the bathroom .

Thank you Christie. I can't believe my baby girl is getting married. I swear it was just yesterday that she was my sweet little girl crawling up in my lap . But as long as she is happy; then I'm fine.

I love to watch the web cams. Hmmmmmmmmm does that make me a voyeur? . Niko says don't let his cute looks fool you; he is a killer..... He does destroy toys at the speed of light . Actually he will bite and that is why we have to go to the kennel to walk and feed him. We loved the kennel at the TTC, and he stayed there a few times, but it was only vet type kennels, I think the new room type kennels will be neat.

Saturday(9/17) was one of Amanda's bridal showers

This was her second shower and was given by her Maid of Honor Lisa....

Matt's mom owns a catering business and florist and she is doing the flowers for the wedding.

Amanda's wedding is going to be black, white and red, and she has been trying to decide what center pieces to have for the dinner tables, so today Matt's mom made some arrangements based on what Amanda has told her she wanted. There were three different arrangements with different type vases. Two tall vases of different heights and an arrangement with a candle in the center that was a basic type arrangement. Well the decision was made to have all three randomly placed on the dinner tables throughout the reception hall. The flowers are going to be red and white roses, chrysanthemums, babies breath, and eucalyptus. The funny thing about it is Matt has HORRIBLE allergies and the chrysanthemums give him fits. He has to take benadryl when he helps his mom with a wedding. Here are the arrangements....................

This is my niece Stevie and her new baby Kylee. Kylee is three weeks old and already has the best personality. She actually slept through most of the shower.

This is my niece Angie, she and I grew up more like sisters than aunt and niece. She is only 5 years younger than I.

I was picked on by Callie because I didn't wrap the vacuum cleaner, but I really didn't see a reason to since Amanda knew what we were giving her. I have always thought gift wrap was so the person opening the gift would be surprised, and there was no surprise there.........lol. If you look at the second gift picture you will see a black trash can with a white bow on it, well guess what? It was from Callie.............

Amanda got some really nice gifts at the shower, but most of all we had a wonderful time with family and friends. I sure would like a big glass of that punch right now.........yum.

Yesterday, before the shower, we went to have the guys fitted for their tux. I don't think they got the measurments right on even one of the guys. They all had an issue of some degree or other, but there was none funnier than this............

I think they must have thought it was going to flood the day of the wedding...........

I almost fell out of the chair when he came out of the dressing room.

I just read the two installments at once and am still wiping the tears from my eyes at Dale's pants. It's a good thing I wasn't there with you or we'd have been kicked out of the store. I can't wait for John to come inside so I can show the picture to him.

Okay, now to the shower. The arrangements are beautiful. I love them all! I've just now caught my breath from all the wedding goings-on and you are now getting reved up. Get ready to be tired from now until a week after the wedding.

John just looked at the pictures and said to tell Dale that he has really grown a lot since he saw him last. John said Dale was probably saying "no lady I said a 32 length not a 23!"
