I think you have to go at least once. It's a super fun atmosphere, which I think you are paying the most for because in my opinion, the food is just okay.
My daughter did okay downstairs, which is where we were seated. Our friends (who live in the area) were having dinner with us and said, oh you HAVE to go upstairs, there's a huge elephant and its so awesome! I was hesitant because I wasn't sure how my DD would do. Sure enough, she lost her mind. So for us, the downstairs was fun, the upstairs--not so much lol. Our friends' son, who is the same age as my DD (both were newly 3 at the time), loved it, so you just never know...
