HI!
Well I am a newbie to this site...well actually not really to the site, as I have looked at it briefly a few other times - but tonight - finally registered and found this thread!
I am so excited....less the 52 days until we set sail! This will be DH & I's 2nd cruise. It will be DS very first one! He just turned 4 on Sunday! We are also traveling with my parents, and my SiL and her 2 DS (10 & 6)!
We are flying in on Saturday morning (very early) and should be at the terminal by 11am or before!
Aside from the excursions, and ship activities - what else can I participate in? I have heard about the door decorating, meet and greets, etc.....
So basically I am looking for some cool people that my DH & SiL and I can hang out with maybe one night, etc....
Sorry for my rambling....but I have just got a sudden burst of excitement as the trip is nearing quicker and quicker!
Hope to hear from someone(s) soon!
Want to say
to the Dog Family. Thank you for making your very first post here on our Bushwacker Thread. We are a nice little group here. Some of us are friends from previous cruises and others have become friends through this thread. So here is a friend chair; now have a seat...
I know we have a lot of pages. I think you need a few more post before you can PM Johnna with your information. We would love to add you to our spread sheet. So get to posting so we can get to know you... Any questions, ask away.
Mic.key Actually my DD's coat was a Columbia. I can not complain though. She has been in it since October 2008. So she got 2 1/2 seasons out of it. I actually went out and got another one, so I must be ok with it right?
I have heard bad things about the "zero" ones... So we have not purchased one of those. Lady Story~

I would have woke up screaming..... Mental note, pack ahead of time.... Since you have lost so much weight, you can not fit into my clothes... The good thing is we would have a reason to do some Duty Free Shopping if that were to happen. I would have Mark's had though... I spent today trying to arrange my call schedule so that I will not be on-call anytime near the trip. I will have to make up for it when we return though. I also read your 'debate' post over on the other site. I guess I was clueless that there was even a political side to it... I only thought of the Mental Health part the entire time. JUst thinking it was sad he slipped through the system. So it actually took me a little bit to process what everyone was saying... Even though we have opposite Health Care beliefs; I was on your side for sure. Hey BJ, you can not give her cake though. It is not in the points system.
BJ~ I posted to MicDay. I will wait to hear.
All~ I am NOT letting my teenager have a phone on the ship. I guess I am getting a new soap box.... I just do not think that was the intent for them. If mine needs to call me, he will just have to go to a wall phone to call. I feel if he wants to be with his friends on the ship, he will just have to actually communicate the old way of doing it and plan ahead. Crazy if you ask me....
Kim~ Where are you in N. Cali? I guess I can look at the spread sheet.
TTYL my Bushwackers...
Tink

That's fantastic - she "let" you post. Us control freak planners can be like that sometimes...
WELCOME!
I have to admit about my son being on the ship while we are out and about. He is 4 - and has NO fear about anything....I just keep telling myself that Disney is a GREAT organization and that their personnel is probably super wonderful - even on the ship! Has anyone had anything but wonderful experiences with that staff that handle the kids?
The last cruise we went on you had to buy a block of time and it ran so slow that my minutes got eaten within 2 days...
