Oh D~ I am sooo excited for you and your kitchen.... Be sure to post pictures as soon as it is complete. Are you taking pictures of each stage. I know it happens quick when it starts to happen, but the stage pictures are amazing to see step by step.... So between a PRETTY kitchen and not wanting our snow; you do not care to move into the lot next Come on over and up....

Lady Story~ Went to see your pictures. Seems as if it was fun... They are just saying on the news as I type about DC getting 5 feet of snow is what you have seen... OMGoodness she says due to the El Nino effect more is moving your way tonight... OH MY.... I think we actually need to head to DC in the Spring to relocate.... You guys will be popping out so many babies that I will earn a lot of the Dead Guys on that green paper.... JOB STABILITY like I have never heard of before.... Look for us a blue house and we will come on over....

Unfortunately, Mardi Gras will be happening while we are on the cruise next year. Everything will be over after the cruise. Instead, you should come down before the cruise to see us. We just got home from a Mardi Gras ball last night that was super fun.

OMGoodness.... You rock Amy..... You have actually mapped out when Ash Wednesday is next year? Oh yeah..... An excuse to eat hardy right? I guess I will have to bring the beads.... The kids had a Mardi Gras celebration today at school... I told them within the next year or two we had to celebrate in New Orleans the right way... So I guess we will celebrate New Orleans style with the Nawlin's gang.... Then the following year come visit you...

I'M HERE!!!!!!

Our computer was being difficult and wouldn't let us in anything that needed a password, and the lap top didn't have my Dis password saved so I could only read the post, not post anything..... our computer is now fixed and I sent in for my new password and long story short HERE I AM!!!!!!

Johnna.... too CRAZY about ALL that snow.. that is just insane!!! We are pretty much snow free here in western Nebraska, been cold, but this week it is forcasted to be in the upper 40's for the whole week, so guess we can't complain

Tinker too funny about giving up veggies for lent..smart girl you will have to share that with your Father at church, I'm sure it will get a big chuckle out of that LOL!!!!

Alayna will be 10.

Paige will be 13.

Riley will be 6.

This was THE Mardi Gras of all parties! The entire state celebrated the "Lombardi" Gras this year. Everyone has such lifted spirits since the Saints had their awesome season. We'll never stop celebrating!

I see your daughter will be 13 for the cruise, my youngest daughter just turned 13 in Jan so she will be 14 when we cruise, my oldest will be 17 YIKES how did that happen!!!!!!!

Well for those of you who are on Emily's facebook you have already seen that her and her Dance Team are the new State Champions in the Hip Hop division!!!!!! and runner ups in the High Kick!

It was such a Fun and Exciting weekend!!! They have been working so hard these last past months and whoo hoo all their hard work paid off for them this past weekend!!!

Today I am off to Denver with a cousin, she has a Dr apt today and tomorrow, so I am going to go up with her, so that means Ron is going to be Mr Mom for the next couple of days...the girls are a bit concerned!!! LOL I'm like Heck you girls are going to LOVE it....Daddy will let you do whatever you want!!! He is usually pretty clueless as to what goes on around here, if it dosen't happen in the office or infront of the T.V. he is OUT of the loop!!!

Wow - don't check this board for a few days and we have a new member of the gang (WELCOME PHOTO LISA! ), and lots and lots of updates. Here I was worried that we were all the way on page 5 or something...

The snow is finally starting to disappear - there's only about a foot or so left that still needs to melt. It's going to rain/sleet later, so I think that will wash away a lot of it - it's been in the 40's here during the day.

Photo Lisa - do they do something special for Mardi Gras on the Magic?? That would be fun!! If not, we'll have to do something ourselves I guess... you all can be our leaders as it sounds like it's part of your blood!!!

Having a tough morning getting in gear - my triple shot latte isn't even near kicked in yet, and I have a meeting out of the office at noon... hmmm... I may need to sit in the back in case I doze off...

Brenda - tell Emily CONGRATS!! (or I may have already done so on FB?) That's so exciting for her. Have a safe trip to Denver...

They don't do anything special for Mardi Gras but . . . last time we cruised at Mardi Gras on the Magic, we had a "mini parade" with disboard members handing out beads.

None of the kids are for me -- one is a niece and the others are my ex-husband's nieces.

It sounds like it might be possible that my ex will be bringing our two grandkids along on the trip too. They will be 10 (female) and 6 (male) at the time if they come too.

We are hoping that another few cabins will be joining us from the family! We travel in packs!

Hello and welcome to all the new peeps!! Glad to have you along for the ride! Not much exciting to share with you all unless you include the excitement late Friday night to the Children's Hospital ER room on the weekend for dd's first ever ear infection! Poor little peanut she was really uncomfortable!
She is all good now and back in school but that shot the whole weekend just trying to recoup sleep and have everyone feeling better.
We are working on arranging contractors and tradesmen for dd's bathroom reno... why oh why do people not respond in a timely manner to phonecalls or messages?? It is enough to make me pull my hair out!! And believe you I would not look great bald!
We are getting closer to that one year countdown mark though folks......I am thinking about last year we had stuff all laid out in the spare bedroom with our flight departure so imminent! Oh well I guess I will have to find something with a closer date to obsess upon!!

I'm being a good girl saving for our cruise. Cut Madison's B-Day party to a cheaper thing. Only staying one night at the Great Wolf Lodge. Then........


Madison's school contract for the 2010/2011 year was just delivered!!

Why oh why......

Guess it's back to work to get more of those dead presidents.

I also got her school calender. She will be in school for 7 days in March because of the cruise and spring break, lucky girl.

We knew it was going to be magical but we did not know the amount of joy the trip would give Lauren. I am remembering how everyone from our room steward to the Waitstaff to the Shutters manager made her "wish" trip extra special.
The other major bonus was meeting and sharing some great moments with the bushwaker gang some of them coming on this cruise and some we have kept in touch with other ways!
Wishing everyone a great weekend! We are in a relative heatwave with the temp at 48 or so and the snow is a melting!! I am ready for spring!

Can not wait until tomorrow night. Madison has a "middle school" dance. So for $5 we get a very happy young lady and James and I get a date night!!

Love spending time with Madison but also love a little adult time too.

We had some snow this morning but it melted and the sun came out. I missed the sun, he did not stay very long....

There of lots of giving helpful people that love to do graphic designs with a Disney theme. We were recommened to look there to find things to make Lauren's wish trip special last year and I have become a regular!
The "DISigners" have huge hearts and usually have photobucket accounts or 4shared accounts that they share their creations in!
You can cruise them them and look for things that strike your fancy or ask them to make you something specific!
Here are 3 that I found in Kellybell's 4shared file that are similar to the one you admired of mine. (she did not have a Tink with Michelle on it).

If I see anything else in my travels I will share them with you!

Good Morning fellow cruise mates/friends

I find myself thinking back to a year ago today, as we were setting in the airport at this time getting ready to fly off to Orlando, to have dinner with the Story's and to start what proved to be an AWESOME/FUN week!!!!
Oh how I wish that day was again today!!!!

But then again..... I guess we can fast forward and think of a year from now when we will be in single digits with our countdown for our RETURN cruise with our past cruising friends as well as our new cruising friends!!!!
It just kinda stinks right now being in the middle LOL

Although right now Ron is getting over a pretty nasty cold that he has been fighting for over a week. He was gracious enough though to SHARE it with Kaylee and I ..... so I guess it is a blessing that we are NOT flying out anywhere today !!!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend in store??? Whether it be doing something fun/exciting or just staying home and hanging out (which is what the EJKJ family will be doing, and am happy for that!!!! )
