We'll be there! ANybody else?

Disney called us today and there was apparantly a "glitch" in their system and they registered us for a chartered cruise on the 18th. SO they gave us the March 4th date instead.

Who else will be there?

Sherri :)

My family will be on our first cruise! Me, DH, DS 12 and DD 9. I've only found one other person going. Maybe we won't have a full ship. More shrimp for us and better chances at bingo.

I am taking my daughter-in-law to be for a girl's weekend on the cruise. It will be her first Disney cruise, my 6th! I can't wait! We just booked today! She and my son are getting married in May. :bounce:

How fun!!!

I just looked up my reservation on the computer and Disney hadn't given me the price they told me they would (it's off by $200) and the person I talked to earlier hadn't noted that in the system.

So now I had to leave a voicemail and wait till she calls me back. What a fiasco of one thing after another!

I'm hoping the cruise is better than this!! (I'm sure it will be!!!)

We're going! Just found this site and registered, what a great place to meet and greet fellow passengers!

My fiance gave me this cruise for Christmas -- I went with my parents just after the cruise line opened, but he's never been.

Can't wait!!!

Well I'm looking forward to meeting some DISers there! :)

Pixie, at least it's only 3 weeks or so till your cruise!

Sherri :)

Hubby thinks I'm crazy! I have most of the bags packed and I could leave tomorrow. I can't wait.:hyper:

My husband and I are going on this cruise, after spending 6 days in the parks! Celebrating our 10th anniversary. I am kind of an obsessive planner, and have many of the details of our days in the park planned out, but am not planning much for the cruise. After 6 days in the parks, I think we will be ready to relax!

6 days in the park AND the cruise...you are going to have a blast! If you are unfamiliar with the Orlando area and have any questions, let me know. I live about 25 minutes from Disney World! See ya on the cruise!
Tracy :earsgirl:

How fun! I'm almost all the way packed, too -- except DH doesn't have any swim trunks that fit! LOL! I need to go shopping I think!

How will we all know each other on the cruise?

Wow - 6 days? You're going to have one GREAT anniversary! Congrats!

We have 6pm dinner seating. Anybody else? (You'll know us by the two hard-to-miss 18 month olds we'll have with us... LOL!)

Sherri :)

TraSee,

Are you on the Lakeland side of Orlando or on the far side (Sanford)? We're in Land O Lakes, just north of Tampa--which means you're luckier, we have to drive twice as long as you to get to Mickey Mouse. :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Good to "meet" you! :hyper:

We are excited to have such a long time to spend. We were at WDW for our honeymoon in 1994 but it was June, very crowded, the World Cup (soccer) was also going on, and it was extremely hot. When we visited Disneyland in March, it was wonderful, moderate temps, and low crowds, and I was determined to do WDW the same way.

I'll be easy to spot.

I'll be the woman hiding from her kids on the secret deck with something frozen in my hand!!:tilt:

Pull up a lounge chair and I'll order you something with an umbrella in it!!!

Just accidentally stumbled across a thread discussing the fact that the "official color" of the DIS boards is lime green, and people wear lime green ribbons at the park to reconize each other. Also, Home Depot has Disney Paint colors, and the swatches are Mickey Head shaped - people get the "Alien Green" chip and make a pin out of it. I am on my way to the craft store for green ribbon to put on my fanny pack zipper, luggage handles, unsuspecting husband, etc.......

Wonderful! I'll have DH stop by Home Depot and pick me up a lime green paint swatch then! :)

I really look forward to meeting some of you - it will be nice to put faces with everyone. :)

We have the 6pm seating. Hey brerrabbit, why don't we switch off kids for the duration of the cruise? heehee That way they'll all be on their best behavior... LOL!

See you all in a week and a half!!! WOO HOO!!

(And I just found out I was upgraded to a Cat. 8!)

Don't temp me on the child swap! I love babies and your little ones are adorable. I myself have a DS 12 that is getting surges of testosterone and a DD 9 that has a teenage attitude.

I don't know when it happened but one day I was the smartest person in the world, and now I'm an idiot!

Cheri:sunny:

LOL... but at least you can send yours to the kids' club and they can forget about being with you for a while! heehee :)

I just got my alein green paint swatches from Home Depot today. :) I'll be the one with the DH making fun of the paint swatch on my shirt at lunch each day.

LOL!
