Hey guys! While we were on the March 30th Magic cruise, and we booked this cruise! It will be me, DH, and DD(14). We are really looking forward to this cruise, but there's such a long wait
Time to start obsessive planning

We got a bit of a discount on our family verandah room because we booked on the cruise, but BOY those prices now All I can say, glad we booked when we did!

We wish we would have done a booking on board when we sailed the Dream... we did when we sailed the Magic. The shock of our shipboard account held us back...lol. Well at least until we got home and started thinking about the Fantasy!
Obsessive planning is what is part of the fun though is it not?
We have never sailed the Western itinerary on Disney, just with Princess and it was before the kiddo... so we are really looking forward to it!
Should be fun!!!

On our first cruise we didn't rebook on board, but we called when we were off and still got a discount.
We sailed the western magic in spring 2011 and 2012! They were both great, and we personally don't get bored with them, we like the boat better than the ports! And this western doesn't have key west and has costa Maya, I think?

And, when we get close enough, do you make chill spa reservations online or over phone or on board?

For this 2013 trip it will be my younger sister who will be 33, me (45) and my son who will be 6. Just upgraded to a verandah today. Got very spoiled on our recent trip in our verandah and fell in love! Looking forward to meeting you all. Can someone direct me to the FB group? Thanks!

Hello, all! DH (34) and myself (34) will be joining this Western cruise next year. ... i hope. Since I work for a school, I am still waiting to hear about our calendar for next year. I feel that it is highly likely it will be this week, but I won't even think about air fare until I know I have it off.

We have cruised twice before, one on the magic (western itinerary- key west, grand cayman, costa maya, castaway cay) and 4 night dream.

We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary!

I have rental cars booked for both ways from Budget. We like to have the flexibility of stopping and getting supplies over a shuttle.

We hope to arrive in Orlando Thursday night before the cruise, but again, we have to wait for my school calendar.

Can't wait!!

Hello All... I am Carole, (DH) Bob, and our 10 children, grandchildren and one girlfriend are booked and all excited to be planning this cruise. We all live in Northern Virginia (Bob and I live 3 miles from the Pentagon in Arlington). All of us except Kevin's girlfriend Jen, just got off the Eastern Fantasy cruise last Saturday and are still a little on cloud nine. The kids especially had a blast! I am looking forward to spending more time exploring the ship this time and am ready to get pumped for this trip... We have already discussed FE possibilities... Bob and I are in our early 60's, (DS) Rob (DDIL) Alison both 39, (DD) Amanda & (DDSIL) Jason both 32, (DS) Kevin & girlfriend Jen both 26. 4 grandsons will be along between 2 sets of parents... Robert (12), Adam (10), Matthew (3), and Logan (2). I am certain you will be hearing from at the very least DD Amanda (she is very chatty) , and DDIL Alison who is much more laid back. Glad to see a good thread going and have put in the request for the FB page.

Hi everyone! I'm Amanda (Carole's daughter). My Hubby (Jason) and my son (Logan, 2), along with all the rest of our crew listed above will be joining this cruise! Today marks a whole week since we got off the Fantasy's 7th sailing and our next cruise seems to be all any of us can talk about! I think we all have a little "Fantasy" Fever. This was my 6th cruise (1st as GOLD) and the 5 previous have all been on the Magic. The Fantasy is a beautiful ship with many improvements (and a couple draw backs) over the Magic - IMO. Don't get me wrong, the Magic was my first love and I would sail on her any time - but a little change is always nice.

I was lucky enough to unknowingly transfer our dummy bookings to this cruise the morning it was released, and managed to score the "glitch" pricing for all our cabins (except my brother's GF's cabin that we just booked while on the Fantasy). It was an awesome surprise to find out later that day. Anyone else get in on the "glitch"? I thought it might be cool to work that into the name? Just a thought.

If anyone has any questions about the Fantasy, let me know. We are happy to help if we can. Looking forward to getting to know every one.
