When was this pricing "released"? I booked this trip onboard back in 2011. Is there a schedule somewhere of when new pricing is released that I have missed?

Thanks,
A

October 18, 2011 :)
No one knows when these things are getting released. There get to be rumors. The night before people were musing that it would be the next day so I started checking early and got in on the glitch. And yes, I think even 15 minutes after I booked it had been corrected! Just luck!

How did I miss the Facebook group. Anyone have a link?

You have to "friend" Jill Kilgore and ask to be added to the group. See you there!

I'm getting tons if hits with that name. Can you post a link to her fb page please? Or just a link to the group and I can request to join there. Thanks!!

can I vent!!.. o.k. so some of you know that my mom has decided to go on the cruise with us. Well it looks like my sister will join us as well (maybe) since she started a new job, she is waiting to know hopefully by August. If she does decide to go it will be Dh, Dmyself, DD, DS, DMom, DFIL, DFILGF, and DSis... The complaint, my mom already booked the room and I asked our TA what the price would be for DSis to add to my mom's room. DMom is complaining how high the price is just to add her. Now it's like I don't want them to go, if she's going to complain about the price from now till the cruise. DMom has been on 3 other cruises (different cruise lines) and of course didn't have to pay that much. Do you think she will get her monies worth on a Disney? She loves Disney and usually doesn't complain, but I think she's stressed because she just did An Alaska Cruise last year, a 15 day Hawaiian this past April- coming to visit us in December (from Seattle to Charlotte) and now will be paying for this cruise March 2013 and airline flight. I know my DSis will be paying for her half but still..

Thanks :-)

Personally, I think she will love the Disney cruise, that being said I have not been on any other cruise line... I know my S-I-L's parents have and they were on the last Disney cruise (Fantasy in May) and LOVED it! Maybe Mom will calm down a little soon... I do know the prices to book later are what may cause DS' girlfriend to cancel... It is always tougher to swallow without the discount and OBC involved. Just my opinion...

Personally I think if money is tight for her then maybe she shouldn't go. No amount of value will make up for not really being able to afford it. If she can easily afford it and doesn't mind the fact that there's no casino, then she will likely have a great time and feel it's worth it. No reason for her to go along and complain the whole time otherwise. I tend to not travel with family these days and only will if they are 100% on board and make it easy. Otherwise, in my experience it's not worth it.

It's not that she can't afford it, she can. She just thinks it's high for a cruise. She doesn't gamble so that's o.k. as far as the casino goes and doesn't drink either. I know she will enjoy it. I think she is a little concern for my sis who is passing a trip to Hawaii to travel with us. Her dad side of the family lives there. My sister is 11 years younger than me, just started her career job and is living on her own in an apartment-she just graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry.. Who knows, but they are booked to go on our cruise. I have this love/dis-like relationship with my mother.. Maybe it's been raining too much in the Pacific Northwest and that's why she was a little grumpy :confused3... I think once the cruise comes around everything will just be honkey dorey... Thanks for letting me vent a little..

So another question, for those that celebrate Easter for the little ones, what do you plan to do as far as 'Is the Easter Bunny coming to your cabin' wondering if I should pack plastic easter eggs or something..

We have talked about it and think we are going to ignore the Easter Bunny thing... Our kids are 2, 3, 10, and 12. So... the little ones will not know what they are missing and the older ones know the tale... We had actually considered taking a cruise leaving Christmas Eve last year and the bigger boys said they would wait until they got home for "Santa", so I knew this would be a breeze. That being said... if the kids were different ages, we would consider baskets, etc.

Hello to all the new sailors.:boat: I have been extremely busy with end of school, track meets and a graduation.:crazy2: Sorry, I have been absent from the disboard.

Here is a former post that hopefully will allow you to find me on fb and become of the group.:wave2:

Edited: Private FB group set up for this cruise. You have to be a friend of mine on FB for me to add you to the group so send me a friend request https://www.facebook.com/jill.kilgore and let me know you are apart of this sailing

just sent you a friend request, also new to FB, so didn't know how to add a message. It's from Laurie Jasany. Thanks!

We are also going on this cruise, myself, hubby, and daughter who is 12, turning 13 on the cruise! We are going to try and keep it as a surprise for her. We've been on two Disney cruises, the Magic and the Wonder, but she's been begging to go on the new ships. We just booked this and are SO excited. Anyone have girls her age to hang with? I know she'd love to make some friends and go to the teen lounge with a friend!

Also wanted to say I have no idea what FE is?

Ok, got the FE bit all figured out now....but how do I join up?

Jill: Please add me to the facebook group for this cruise, thanks!

ps...just read through all the posts, and so happy to hear there will be quite a few teens on the cruise, I really hope the kids can meet up and have some fun on the ship together!

Still trying to get on the Facebook to be included in the FE, I did send her a friend request but nothing yet.

I'm sure my dd would love to participate in the FE. If anyone can contact her another way, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

She's away from her computer but working on it!

ok, got the friend part on facebook...

now, how do I access the facebook fe ? (very new to FB, and not very good at understanding all of it)

Thanks SO much!

Hmmm...try looking under her groups and look for Easter Fantasy Cruise. When you get to that page, you should be able to request to join the group.

thanks, tried that, but I really don't know where to look for her groups. I posted a message on her wall...I'm probably just missing something somewhere?
