March 27, 2010 - Spring Break with Mickey on the Magic!

We booked a cat 12 - and received room 2101 -- looks like a category 10 according to the charts -- but my reservation still says cat 12??:confused3

They always show the category that you paid for even if you get an upgrade. And you are across the hall from us! :lmao:

Wondering if we will actually get snow this time???

Kids have been home sick for the last 2 days!! Stomach bug that won't quit!! I've lost 5lbs in the last 48hours!! Not the way I wanted to!!

Hope you and the family feel better soon! As far as snow goes, I have plenty and am willing to share. I'm on an extended business trip in Charlottesville, VA and today's the 3rd snowfall in about 10 days. I'm pretty much over it! Can't wait for a sunny warm beach :beach:

Congrats to all of you who got upgrades!

Speaking of FE's......Are we going to have a cut off for joining?? Is everyone interested in them listed on page 1??? I am just trying to get an idea of numbers for shopping purposes!

After the recent snowstorm here I am even more excited about this trip!!

Everyone -

Since we are getting closer to our cruise (yay!) I wanted to check when people think we should close the FE list.

I'm going to throw out Feb 28 as the cutoff date, just as a starting point - let me know if you think that's too far out. I'm torn between not wanting to possibly leave anyone out and knowing that we all need time to finalize things and get ready for our vacation! :cool1:

Please let me know what you think. :goodvibes

We must have been typing at the same time! I just posted above about a cutoff date. The list on page 1 does show everyone who's participating and all the info I have so far. Once we close the FE list I'll send out a master list to everyone.

I like that as a cutoff for anyone already on the boards. I am also happy to add a cabin or two if someone finds their way here and asks to be added a bit later.
Thanks for organizing us ! !

My thoughts exactly!! I would hate to turn away someone that just found us!!

Don't take my lack of interest in the FE thing as any kind of snub. We're generally (at least my wife is) pretty friendly and we'd enjoy some meeting and/or greeting but I am not crafty, and my wife's craftiness tends to be in the form of cooked and baked good, which are not allowed. Add to that the fact that this is our first cruise with kids and we'd rather just worry about packing for us and figuring things out on this one.

This will be my first experience as well. I read many posts where people report that it was one of their kids favorite parts of the cruise. They love coming back to the cabin and finding the little gifts. From what I read it does not need to be anything fancy. I small bag of M&M's is fine. So don't feel that you have to put it lots of hours to be part of the fun. No pressure here, just wanted you to know what I learned.

No offense taken! :goodvibes Totally understand and we'll still talk to you even if you won't play with us! :rotfl:

Please remove us from the FE list. I can't get my act together for it! :sad2:

No problem. You still have a couple weeks to rejoin if you change your mind!
