Happy Friday fellow cruisers Have a magical day, well looks like we are going to disney in October with DD and her family. Still trying to figure a way to pay for the cruise.

Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't have time to log on sooner. We got home real late last night from a great evening of Irish music and I was dragging this morning. Add to that work keeping me super busy and I just haven't gotten on the boards until lunch.

Dianne - that's great that you guys are going to Disney. Where are you staying?

Chris I agree that time of year is a great time to go, but just about any time at WDW is a great time. I could do without going back in the middle of summer.

Agreed Mary. We went once in June and it was soooooooo hot. And it was the first part of June. We took Becca for her 16th Birthday for Star Wars Days. We just couldn't believe how hot it was. But they did say it was unusually hot for that time of year that year. But I would rather the heat than the cold!

Part of it was going in July last year. Hot, hot, hot. But not as hot as when we went to Member Homecoming when SSR openend. The day of the opening was downright miserable in the heat.

We are staying at SSR Tree houses, but I was thinking of changing it to Animal Kingdom, I think all of the DGD's and DGS would love to watch the animals from the room, Thats a total of 5 count them 5 children and four adults cause DS and his new wife will be on thier honeymoon in Jamica and we are bringing his DD with us

I hear the pools are fun at AKV. I guess that might be something to consider with the kids over the THV. The pool at THV is just that, a pool. No slides or play areas. Of course you could always go over to SSR to use those pools. But that could be quite a trek. Good luck on deciding!
